Lately a war of Turkish drones showcases against the targets and leaders of the “Syrian Democratic Forces – Qasad” militia loyal to Washington in the region East of the Euphrates, which is now under their control, while there is a total silence by its American ally about what is going on.

A military source at “Qasad” in a statement to the Syrian “al-Waṭan [Homeland]” newspaper accounted the attack “a set of possible preliminary attacks carried out by the Turkish regime to fulfill its plans to occupy the areas ruled by militias. Especially that it targets the military positions and the military leaders”.
The source did not rule out “the collusion of Washington with the operation in light of its suspicious silence and sinful neglect, or even to comment the areal attacks by the Turkish occupying army, what has became known as a drone war”.
Also according to the al-Waṭan “yesterday the areal strikes by drones belonging to the Turkish army continued for the second consecutive weeks against the positions of “Qasad” at the area of ‘Ayn al-‘Arab in the northeastern region of Aleppo after the bombardment campaign claimed down for some two months ago upon the threat the regime of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made to order a new raid against the region controlled by the “Qasad” East and West of the Euphrates. First on this list is ‘Ayn al-‘Arab, which connects the zones with each other.
The Syrian newspaper cited local sources from ‘Ayn al-‘Arab saying that “a Turkish drone yesterday bombarded a position of the “Syrian Democratic Forces” in the vicinity of Tarmīk village in the eastern outskirts of the city without any information about the results of the bombardment, while at the same time a gathering of the leaders of the militias was targeted within the city of ‘Ayn al-‘Arab”
At the same time the “Qasad” concealed the results of the intensified Turkish bombardment saying that an explosion shook ‘Ayn al-‘Arab believing that it might have come from a Turkish drone, which was flying through the skies of the city. The sources revealed that “targeting one of the headquarters of the militias close to the al-Hāl market in the city center during a meeting by the high ranking leaders, some of them coming from the Qandīl Mountains to give advises about the ongoing battles with the Turkish occupying army. Though the death of the leaders was not confirmed due to the heavy security blockade imposed by the militias around the scene of the explosion, it was pointed out that ambulance cars transported the wounded from the scene of the explosion to nearby hospitals”.
According to the claims of the local sources from ‘Ayn al-‘Arab to al-Waṭan this comes at a time when “the Turkish army yesterday continued for the third consecutive day the bombardment of the eastern suburbs of ‘Ayn al-‘Arab after the artillery and missile barrage hit the eastern part of the city in the first two days. This caused local residents taking refuge from the outskirts in safer regions. Especially that the bombardment hit not less than 17 populated villages and towns”.

استعرت في الآونة الأخيرة حرب الطائرات المسيرة التركية ضد أهداف ومتزعمي ميليشيات “قوات سورية الديمقراطية- قسد” الموالية لواشنطن في مناطق شرق نهر الفرات الواقعة تحت سيطرتها في ظل صمت حليفها الأمريكي حول ما يحدث.
وعدّ مصدر عسكري في “قسد“، في تصريح لصحيفة “الوطن” السورية، الهجمات “بمثابة ضربات استباقية قبل تنفيذ النظام التركي مخططه لاحتلال مناطق هيمنة الميليشيات، وخصوصاً أنها تستهدف نقاطا عسكرية ومتزعمين عسكريين”.
ولم يستبعد المصدر “تواطؤ واشنطن في العملية في ظل صمتها المريب وتجنبها إدانة، أو حتى التعليق على الضربات الجوية لجيش الاحتلال التركي ضمن ما بات يعرف بحرب المسيّرات”.
و”تواصلت أمس الضربات الجوية بالطائرات المسيّرة التابعة للجيش التركي، وللأسبوع الثاني على التوالي، ضد أهداف لـ”قسد” في منطقة عين العرب بريف حلب الشمالي الشرقي، بعد أن هدأت حملة القصف منذ نحو شهر إثر التهديدات التي أطلقها نظام رجب طيب أردوغان بغزو مناطق نفوذ “قسد” شرق نهر الفرات وغربه، وفي مقدمتها عين العرب التي تربط المناطق ببعضها بعضاً”، بحسب “الوطن”.
ونقلت الصحية السورية عن مصادر محلية في عين العرب، أن “طائرة مسيّرة تركية قصفت أمس موقعاً لـ«قوات سورية الديمقراطية» في محيط بلدة ترميك بريف المدينة الشرقي من دون معرفة نتائج القصف، بالتوازي مع استهداف تجمع لمتزعمي الميليشيات داخل مدينة عين العرب”.
وبينما أخفت «قسد» نتائج القصف التركي مكتفية بالقول إن انفجاراً هز عين العرب يعتقد بأنه ناجم عن قصف بمسيّرة تركية كانت تحلق في سماء المدينة، كشفت المصادر بأنه “استهدف أحد مقرات الميليشيات قرب سوق الهال في مركز المدينة خلال اجتماع لكبار متزعميها، بعضهم قدم إلى المدينة من جبال قنديل لتقديم الاستشارة بخصوص المعارك الدائرة مع جيش الاحتلال التركي، من دون التأكد من مصرع المتزعمين بسبب الطوق الأمني الكثيف الذي فرضته الميليشيات حول مكان التفجير لكنها لفتت إلى إلى أن سيارات الإسعاف أقلت مصابين من موقع الانفجار إلى المشافي القريبة”.
يأتي ذلك في وقت “واصل الجيش التركي أمس، ولليوم الثالث على التوالي، قصف ريف عين العرب الشرقي، بعد أن طال القصف المدفعي والصاروخي الجزء الشرقي للمدينة في أول يومين، ما تسبب بحركة نزوح للسكان من الريف باتجاه مناطق أكثر أمناً، وخصوصاً أنه استهدف ما لا يقل عن ١٧ قرية وبلدة مأهولة”، وفق قول مصادر أهلية في عين العرب لـ”الوطن”.
