“Israel” tries to delay the deal of Algeria buying fifth-generation Russian warplanes. According to the “aš-Šurūq” newspaper its aim is not to secure the Israeli superiority in the region, but to put pressure on the states refusing the normalization. This happens by punishing Algeria by undermining the deal of buying “Su-57” planes.
Algerian President ‘Abd al-Mağīd Tabbūn reaffirmed that he refuses normalization with “Israel” criticizing those rushing for Tel Aviv “for increasing the pressure on this front, which benefitted from the silence of many Arabic and Islamic leaders”, according to Tabbūn.
The Algerian aš-Šurūq mentioned that “Algeria’s stance not only aggravate the normalizing states but also irked the one primarily touched by the normalization. That is “Israel”, which strives to take revenge on Algeria for its stance. This goes on by the Israeli media leaking information targeting Algeria, which talks about the decision of Tel Aviv to enact the decree stating the prohibition of Israeli war technology to Ukraine”, in exchange Russia puts a ban on transporting or selling its technology to “enemies of Israel”.
It added that this “comes in a time when Russia and Ukraine is a big confrontation because Russia annexed parts of Ukraine, which seeks Israeli technology to improvise its Russian arms production, including the MIG planes. At the same time, Russia sells its equipment to “enemies of Israel”, with Algeria at the top.
The Israeli media leaks did not talk about Algeria directly, but the talk confined to “the enemies of Israel”, and some understood that the matter is in connection with Iran, which is in total constant war with the Israeli entity.
The press pointed out that those who are knowledgeable about the Algerian-Israeli conflict confirmed that the matter is connected to Algeria, which is in a tacit war with Tel Aviv for decades for historical, national, and ideological (connected to the occupation) reasons.
According to the leaks, as by the press, the aim behind enacting the decision to prohibit Israeli technology to Ukraine is to postpone Russia handing over fifth-generation “Su-57” planes, which are the only ones capable of combatting the most modern American plane from the same generation. That is the “F-35” plane, which in the Mediterranean is only in the hands of “Israel” and Italy after the deal with Turkey was suspended in a result of buying developed Russian “S-400” defense systems.
The leaks continued that Algeria receiving fifth-generation Russian “Su-57” planes mean the accomplishment of parity with “Israel”, which has the American “F-35” in its disposal at a time when Algeria leads the camp of rejecting the normalization with Tel Aviv. This matter weakens the position of the normalizing states, which connected the creation of full diplomatic relations with “Israel” with their gain of this modern type of American fighters. It was later revealed that regardless of that [normalization] Tel Aviv objects this deal, as it would create parity in the air forces between the Arab states and “Israel”.
The “aš-Šurūq” pointed out that the current leaks in the Israeli media suggest that Tel Aviv does not pressure Moscow to cancel the deal of the “Su-57” planes between Algiers and Moscow, which knowing the sensitivity of the Russian-Algerian ties in the field of arms (90% of the Algerian weaponry is of Russian origin) is impossible, but to postpone it until 2025. That is the time, by which “Israel” can obtain other weapons, which surpass the fifth-generation Russian planes.

صحيفة الشروق الجزائرية ذكرت أن “موقف الجزائر لم يزعج فقط الدول المطبعة، بل أربك المعني الأول بالتطبيع وهي “إسرائيل”، التي تسعى إلى الانتقام من الجزائر على موقفها هذا، وتجلى ذلك من خلال تسريب الإعلام الإسرائيلي معلومات تستهدف الجزائر ضمنياً، تتحدث عن قرار تل أبيب تفعيل قرار ينص على منع تقنية التصنيع الحربية الإسرائيلية على أوكرانيا”، مقابل إقدام روسيا على منع نقل أو بيع تقنيتها إلى “أعداء إسرائيل
