The Foreign Minister in the government of Sanaa talks about the seriousness of the Iranian initiative to solve the crisis in Yemen, and says that addressing it with careful study and oversight “will be the main gate for the solution for what is going on in Yemen”.
Foreign Minister in the government of Sanaa Hišām Šaraf said that the Iranian initiative to solve the crisis in Yemen “is the key of solution” in the country, adding that the initiative “dealt with the matter of the war and the blockade in Yemen, and also with the negotiation and settlement process”.
Šaraf added that “putting the Iranian initiative forward for studying or having simple alterations on it is the main gate for the solution for what is going in in Yemen”. Thus he called for “using the Iranian initiative now and discuss it by all parties”.
The Yemeni Foreign Minister confirmed that Saudi Arabia “is looking for a justification for the aggression, but we want to say that it will not defeat the Yemenis with its aggression. And it is required of it to negotiate in the language of peace”.
The Yemeni Foreign Minister demanded the Saudi Coalition to “stop its support for the militias and the armed groups operating beyond the law”, thus pointing out that these groups “will make the steps toward peace only more difficult”.
Šaraf also commented on the fabricated video shown by the spokesman of the Saudi Coalition Turkī al-Mālikī few days ago, and in that said that it shows “the location of the assembly for the ballistic missiles and their upload at the port of al-Ḥudayda”. He said that it is a “cinematic piece of work” aiming to cause and excuse for striking at al-Ḥudayda.
The Yemeni Foreign Minister expressed his disappointment about the International community, confirming that “all countries are looking at its own interests and therefore all states are silent and speechless, as their interests are connected to the states or the aggression, especially to Saudi Arabia”.
On 2015 April Iran put forward a solution initiative to stop the war in Yemen, which stipulates an immediate ceasefire in the county and the beginning of a of a humanitarian relief plan and a project of Yemeni negotiations moving forward for forming a government with a broad basis.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry in March last year expressed the readiness of Iran to “support any peace initiative, as long as it has in its conditions the ending the aggression, a comprehensive ceasefire, ending the occupation and lifting the economic blockade and starting the political negotiations”.

وزير الخارجية في حكومة صنعاء يتحدث عن جدوى المبادرة الإيرانية لحل الأزمة في اليمن، ويقول إنّ تناولها بالبحث والمراجعة “سيكون المدخل الرئيس لحل ما يدور في اليمن”.
قال وزير الخارجية في حكومة صنعاء، هشام شرف، إنّ مبادرة إيران لحل الأزمة في اليمن “هي مفتاح للحل” في البلاد، مضيفاً أنّ المبادرة “تعاملت مع موضوع الحرب والحصار في اليمن، وآلية المفاوضات وتطبيع الأوضاع”.
وأضاف شرف أنّ “وضع المبادرة الإيرانية في إطار البحث أو التعديل البسيط سيكون هو المدخل الرئيس لحل ما يدور في اليمن”، داعياً إلى “أخذ المبادرة الايرانية الآن، ومناقشتها مع الجميع”.
وأكّد وزير الخارجية اليمني أنّ السعودية “تبحث عن مبرر للعدوان، لكن ما نودُّ قوله إنّها لن تهزم اليمنيين بعدوانها، والمطلوب هو الحوار بلغة السلام”.
وطالب الوزير اليمني التحالف السعودي بأن “يوقف دعمه للميليشيات والجماعات المسلحة الخارجة عن القانون”، لافتاً إلى أنّ هذه الجماعات “ستعكّر أي خطوات نحو السلام”.
وعلّق شرف على الفيديو المزوّر، والذي عرضه الناطق باسم التحالف السعودي تركي المالكي، قبل أيام، وقال فيه إنّه يُظهر “موقع تجميع الصواريخ البالستية وتركيبها في ميناء الحديدة”، بالقول إنّه “عمل سينمائي” يهدف إلى خلق ذريعة لضرب الحديدة.
وأعرب وزير الخارجية اليمني عن استيائه من الموقف الدولي، مؤكداً أنّ “كل دولة تبحث عن مصلحتها. لذلك، فإن كل الدول صامتة، وساكتة، لأن مصالحها مرتبطة بالدول المعتدية، وخصوصاً السعودية”.
وكانت إيران طرحت، في نيسان/أبريل 2015، مبادرةً لوقف الحرب في اليمن، وتنص على الوقف الفوري لإطلاق النار في البلاد، والبدء في خطة للمساعدات الإنسانية، والشروع في حوار يمني يفضي إلى تشكيل حكومة ذات قاعدة موسعة.
وأعربت وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية، في آذار/مارس الماضي، عن استعداد طهران “لدعم أي مبادرة سلام تكون قائمة على إنهاء العدوان، ووقف شامل لإطلاق النار، وإنهاء الاحتلال، ورفع الحصار الاقتصادي، والبدء بمفاوضات سياسية
