Director of the National Inspection Organization in Iran Ḥosseyn Darvīšiyān points out that “the ratio of acceptance for voting in the presidential elections will be high”, according to the statistics of the Ministry of Interior.
Director of the National Inspection Organization in Iran Ḥosseyn Darvīšiyān says that according to the statistics of the Ministry of interiors since morning until now there will be a high turnout in the elections.
Darvīšiyān urged the Iranians whoever has criticism about the current situation to take part in the elections saying that high participation will rapidly take effect in solving the crises in the country.
In a joining context, the Iranian “Fars” News Agency said that the number of those who voted until now (16:45) is equal to 14 million voters, which translates into 23% of those eligible to take part in the presidential elections of the Islamic Republic.
On his own behalf, Secretary-General of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council ‘Alī Šamhānī confirmed that any result in the next elections is “respected” because it represents the opinion of the majority of the participants. “Yet the participation of the people is the biggest results”, according to his expression.
After casting his vote Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister ‘Abbās ‘Arāqčī said that broad participation in the elections improves the capabilities of the Islamic Republic hoping that the election results will be the source of the wellbeing of the Iranian people.
Previously today morning local time the election process has started and the election centers have opened for more than 59 million Iranian voters eligible to participate in the 13th presidential elections.
Also today the 6th elections are conducted for the municipality and village Islamic councils and there are completion elections for the Council of Experts.
After the election centers have opened Iranian Supreme Leader as-Sayyid ‘Alī Hāmeneī also cast his vote and said that “the Election Day of the day of the Iranian people, which determines the path of the country during the next few years”.
Former Speaker of the Iranian Parliament ‘Alī Lārīğānī has also voted, who had previously presented his request to the candidate in the Iranian presidential elections before being turned down eventually.
4 candidates are in rivalry for the post of president of the Islamic Republic in Iran. They are the head of the judiciary Ebrāhīm Ra’īsī, Secretary of the Expediency Council Moḥsen Reẓāī, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Amīr Ḥosseyn Qāẓīzāde Hâšemī and the director of the central bank, ‘Abd an-Nāṣer Hemmatī. This comes after the withdrawal of Moḥsen Mehr-‘Alīzāde, ‘Alī Reẓā Zākānī and Sa‘īd Ğalīlī.

وأوصى درويشيان الإيرانيين ممن لديهم انتقادات للوضع الحالي المشاركة في الانتخابات، قائلاً إنّ نسبة المشاركة العالية ستؤثر سريعاً في حل أزمات البلاد
في سياق متصل، قالت وكالة “فارس” الإيرانية إنّ عدد الذين انتخبوا حتى الساعة (16:45) تخطى الـ 14 مليون ناخب، ما يعادل نسبة 23% من عدد من يحق لهم المشاركة في انتخابات رئاسة الجمهورية الإيرانية
من جهته، أكد أمين المجلس الأعلى للأمن القومي الإراني علي شمخاني، أن أي نتيجة في الانتخابات المقبلة “محترمة”، لأنها ستمثّل رأي غالبية المشاركين “لكن مشاركة الشعب هي أهم من النتيجة” على حد تعبيره
وعقب الإدلاء بصوته، قال مساعد وزير الخارجية الإيراني عباس عراقجي، إنّ المشاركة الواسعة في الانتخابات تزيد من اقتدار الجمهورية الإسلامية، آملاً في أن تكون نتائج الانتخابات مصدر خير للشعب الإيراني
وفي وقت سابق من صباح اليوم بالتوقيت المحلي، انطلقت عملية الاقتراع، وفتحت مراكز الاقتراع أمام أكثر من 59 مليون إیراني يحق لهم الاقتراع للمشاركة في الدورة 13 للانتخابات الرئاسية
وتجري اليوم کذلك انتخابات الدورة الـ6 للمجالس الإسلامية البلدية والقروية والانتخابات التكميلية لمجلس خبراء القيادة
وبعد فتح مراكز الاقتراع، أدلى المرشد الإيراني السيد علي خامنئي بصوته، وقال إن “يوم الانتخابات هو يوم الشعب الإيراني الذي يقرر مصير البلاد خلال السنوات المقبلة
كما صوّت رئيس مجلس الشورى الإيراني السابق علي لاريجاني، والذي كان قد تقدّم سابقاً بطلب ترشّح لانتخابات الرئاسة الإيرانية، قبل أن يتم رفضه
