Unknown people attack the American base in the al-‘Umar oilfield in Dayr az-Zūr, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights talks about military drills performed by the international coalition supported by arrival of some 25 American trucks to the al-‘Umar oilfield.
The “SANA” official Syrian news agency said that unknown people attacked the American base at the al-‘Umar oilfield in Eastern Dayr az-Zūr.
It added that the attack happened when a convoy of truck arrived, which carried military and logistical equipment, pointing to that the American forces responded to the attack by artillery shelling and flares.
Local sources said that the sounds of 8 shells fired by the French artillery centered in the area were heard clearly along with the sounds of helicopters strolling over wide areas east of the Euphrates river in the Dībān desert.
The Observatory of the Syrian Human Rights talks about military drills performed by the international coalition, which was supported by the arrival of some 25 American trucks to the al-‘Umar oilfield.
The international coalition transformed the al-‘Umar oilfield to a major center for itself instead of the “Harāb ‘Išq” base in the eastern ar-Raqqa countryside, and the American forces spread out in 7 points around the oilfields in the Dayr az-Zūr and al-Ḥasaka countryside.
Additionally, the Syrian Army extended its point along the Aleppo-al-Ḥasaka highway and affirmed its positions in the town of Laylān, 10 kilometers west to Tall Tamr in the al-Ḥasaka countryside.

وأضافت أن الهجوم جاء تزامناً مع وصول رتل من الشاحنات تحمل معدات عسكرية ولوجستية، مشيرة إلى أن القوات الأميركية ترد على الهجوم بقصف مدفعي وقنابل مضيئة
وقالت مصادر محلية إن أصوات 8 قذائف أطلقتها المدفعية الفرنسية المتمركزة في المنطقة، سُمعت بوضوح مع أصوات تحليق للطيران المروحي بكثافة على مساحات واسعة شرقي نهر الفرات في بادية ذيبان
وتحدث المرصد السوري لحقوق الانسان عن مناورات أجراها التحالف الدولي بالتزامن مع وصول نحو 25 شاحنة أميركية إلى حقل العمر
وحّول التحالف الدولي حقل العمر الى مقر رئيسي له بدلاً من قاعدة “خراب عشق” الواقعة في ريف الرقة الشرقي، كما تنتشر القوات الأميركية في 7 نقاط حول حقول النفط في ريف دير الزور والحسكة
بالتزامن، وسع الجيش السوري نقاط انتشاره على الطريق الدولي حلب-الحسكة، وثبت نقاطاً جديدة في قرية ليلان 10 كم غرب تل تمر بريف الحسكة
