Despite a huge fallback in seats won under a large boycott and a fierce political crisis the “National Liberation Front” holds on to the biggest number of seats in the Algerian parliament.
According to what was announced today, on Tuesday by the independent national election authority, the “National Liberation Front”, which is the leading party in the outgoing Algerian Parliament leads the results of the legislative elections, which took place last Saturday in Algeria, despite the huge drop-back in the won seats amidst the major boycott and fierce political crises.
The Front – previously being the only party – gained 105 seats from the 407, followed by independents with 78 seats. As for the main Islamist party in the country, which is the “Society of Peace Movement”, which announced that it leads the elections came out third with 64 seats. That is
according to the head of the director of the independent national election’s authority, Muḥammad Šarkī announced during a press conference.
The rest of the seats are spread out between the parties of al-Ḥukm ar-Rāšid [Righteous Rule], Justice and Progress, Freedom and Justice, the Voice of the People, the New Generation, New Dawn Party, the Dignity Party and the New Algeria Front.
Šarkī announced the number of voters in the 12 June elections was less than 6 million, while someone million ballots were canceled votes. This matter changes the final percentage of the participants in the elections. About this matter, Muḥammad Šarkī did not elaborate during his press conference.

In Algeria, the leader of the “Society of Peace” Movement, ‘Abd ar-Razzāq Maqrī said two days ago that his party “leads the results in most provinces” and in the districts outside of the county created for the diaspora.

تصدَّرت “جبهة التحرير الوطني”، وهي الحزب الرئيس في البرلمان الجزائري المنتهية ولايته، نتائج الانتخابات التشريعية التي أُجريت يوم السبت الماضي في الجزائر، على الرغم من تراجع كبير في عدد المقاعد التي نالتها، في ظل مقاطعة كبيرة وأزمة سياسية حادة، بحسب ما أعلنت اليوم الثلاثاء السلطة الوطنية المستقلة للانتخابات
وحلّت الجبهة – وهي الحزب الوحيد سابقاً – الأولى، ونالت 105 مقاعد من أصل 407، تلاها المستقلون بـ 78 مقعداً. أمّا الحزب الإسلامي الرئيسي في البلاد، وهو “حركة مجتمع السلم”، الذي كان أعلن تصدّره الانتخابات، فحلّ ثالثاً بحصوله على 64 مقعداً، وفق ما أعلن رئيس السلطة الوطنية المستقلة محمد شرفي، خلال مؤتمر صحافي
وتوزعت سائر المقاعد على أحزاب الحكم الراشد، العدالة والتنمية، الحرية والعدالة، صوت الشعب، جيل جدبد، حزب الفجر الجديد، حزب الكرامة وجبهة الجزائر الجديدة
وأعلن شرفي أن عدد المصوِّتين في انتخابات الثاني عشر من حزيران/يونيو أقل من ستة ملايين، بينها نحو مليون ورقة ملغاة من الأصوات، وهو الأمر الذي يغيّر نسبة المشاركة النهائية في الانتخابات، الأمر الذي لم يتطرق إليه محمد شرفي في ندوته الصحافية
وبلغت نسبة المشاركة في الانتخابات التشريعية، التي شهدتها الجزائر السبت، 23,03 في المئة. وهذه النسبة هي الأدنى تاريخياً. وهذه هي الحصيلة النهائية، بحسب الأرقام الرسمية غير النهائية، والتي أعلنتها السلطة الوطنية المستقلة للانتخابات الثلاثاء
وتوزّع ترتيب المقاعد في البرلمان، على الشكل التالي:
جبهة التحرير الوطني: 105 مقاعد
المستقلون: 78 مقعداً
حركة مجتمع السلم: 64 مقعداً
التجمع الوطني الديمقراطي: 57 مقعداً
جبهة المستقبل: 48 مقعداً
حركة البناء الوطني: 40 مقعداً
الحكم الراشد: 3 مقاعد
صوت الشعب: 3 مقاعد
العدالة والتنمية: مقعدان
الحرية والعدالة: مقعدان
الفجر الجديد: مقعدان

وكان رئيس حركة “مجتمع السلم” في الجزائر، عبد الرزاق مقري، قال قبل يومين، إن حزبه “تصدَّر النتائج في أغلبية الولايات”، وفي الدوائر خارج البلاد المخصصة للجالية
