The Sudanese Ministry of Information calls the masses to cut block the streets in front of the military movement until the coup attempt is foiled. The protesters cut the streets in the Sudanese capital protesting against the arrest of the officials.
The Sudanese Ministry of Information announced that “what has happened in Sudan today is a military coup involving the army staff”. It called the masses to “block the roads in front of the military movement until the coup attempt is foiled”, demanding the release of the arrestees.
The Sudanese Ministry pointed out today, on Monday the detention of the members of Transitional Sovereignty Council composed of civilians and a number of ministers of the transitional government, and said that the joint military forces detained the head of the Sudanese government ‘Abd Allah Ḥamdūk in his home and putting up pressure against him to issue a decree supporting the “coup”.
The Sudanese Ministry of Information reported a message by the head of the Sudanese government ‘Abd Allah Ḥamdūk from his place of house arrest asking the Sudanese people to be adamant about their peacefulness. The Ministry explained that “Ḥamdūk asked the Sudanese to occupy the streets defending their revolution”.
After the speech of Ḥamdūk the Sudanese Ministry of Information confirmed that “a military force detained the Prime Minister and took him to an unknown location”.
Also the Sudanese media announced today that “an urgent meeting has commenced by the leadership of the Sudanese army to study the current developments”, thus confirming “the detention of most of first rank leadership of the political parties”.
The “Reuters” news agency reported on a source from in the family of the Sudanese PM ‘Abd Allah Ḥamdūk’s media advisor that the military force ambushed his home and apprehended him.
The news agency confirmed “the detention of most members of the Sudanese Council of Ministers and a large number of leadership of the parties supporting the government”. It also pointed out that “the detentions included a member of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council”.
The “Reuters” citing eyewitnesses also mentioned that “the Sudanese army blocks civilian movement in the Sudanese capital Khartoum”.
The “France Press” news agency mentioned that the protesters blocked the roads in the Sudanese capital protesting against the arrest of the officials, explaining that armed detain a number of the officials of the Sudanese executive authority from their residences.
The Sudanese Professional Union previously today had called on “the Sudanese people to go out to the streets to resist any military coup”, also calling “the resistance committees and the revolutionary forces to activate the necessitated land communication network”.
The Union added today, on Monday that “there are reports of preparations for cutting the internet after the detention of most members of the government and the Sovereignty Council”.
It also called for a general strike and civil disobedience confronting “the military coup”.
Several days before the “Proclamation of liberty and change” forces in Sudan renewed their fall to Prime Minister ‘Abd Allah Ḥamdūk, warming about a “creeping coup”.
In September a Sudanese military source said that “a putschist group in Sudan tried to take control over the situation in the country”.
Sudan lives in a state of confusion since a failed coup attempt broke out last month amidst fierce accusations between the military and the civilian sides, who both push for their bigger share of authority after the removal of the previous president ‘Umar al-Bašīr in 2019.
The supporters of the arms organized a protest in front of the presidential palace to call upon the army to dismiss the civilian government.
Last week a number of ministers joined major protests in several areas in Khartoum and other cities against the possibility that the government would transform into a military one.

وزارة الإعلام السودانية تدعو الجماهير إلى قطع الطريق على التحرّك العسكري حتى إسقاط المحاولة الانقلابية، ومتظاهرون يقطعون طرقات في العاصمة السودانية احتجاجاً على اعتقال مسؤولين
أعلنت وزارة الإعلام السودانية أنّ “ما حدث في السودان اليوم هو انقلاب عسكري متكامل الأركان”، داعية الجماهير إلى “قطع الطريق على التحرّك العسكري حتى إسقاط المحاولة الانقلابية”، ومطالبةً بإطلاق سراح المعتقلين.
وأشارت وزارة الإعلام السودانية، اليوم الإثنين، إلى اعتقال أعضاء في مجلس السيادة الانتقالي من المكوّن المدني وعدد من وزراء الحكومة الانتقالية، وقالت إنّ القوات العسكرية المشتركة تحتجز رئيس الوزراء السوداني عبد الله حمدوك في منزله، وتمارس ضغوطاً عليه لإصدار بيان مؤيد “للانقلاب”
ونقلت وزارة الإعلام السودانية رسالة عن رئيس الوزراء السوداني عبد الله حمدوك، من مقرّ إقامته الجبرية، يطلب من السودانيين التمسّك بالسلمية. وأوضحت الوزارة أنّ “حمدوك طلب من السودانيين احتلال الشوارع للدفاع عن ثورتهم”.
وبعد كلام حمدوك، أكّدت وزارة الإعلام السودانية أنّ “قوّة من الجيش اعتقلت رئيس الوزراء ونقلته إلى مكان مجهول”.
كذلك، أعلنت وسائل إعلام سودانية “بدء اجتماع عاجل لقادة الجيش في السودان لبحث التطورات الجارية”، مؤكدةً “اعتقال أغلب قيادات الصف الأول في الأحزاب السياسية”.
وكانت وكالة “رويترز” نقلت عن مصدرٍ من عائلة المستشار الإعلامي لرئيس الوزراء السوداني، عبد الله حمدوك، أن قوة عسكرية اقتحمت منزله وقبضت عليه
وأكّدت الوكالة “اعتقال أغلبية أعضاء مجلس الوزراء السوداني وعدد كبير من قيادات الأحزاب المؤيدة للحكومة”، وأشارت إلى أن “الاعتقالات طالت عضواً في المجلس السيادي السوداني
كما ذكرت “رويترز”، نقلاً عن شهود عيان، أنّ “الجيش السوداني يقيّد حركة المدنيين في العاصمة السودانية الخرطوم
وذكرت وكالة “فرانس برس” أنَّ متظاهرين قطعوا طرقات في العاصمة السودانية احتجاجاً على اعتقال مسؤولين، موضحةً أنّ مسلّحين يعتقلون عدداً من المسؤولين في السلطة التنفيذية السودانية من أماكن إقامتهم.
ودعا تجمّع المهنيين السودانيين في وقت سابق اليوم، “الشعب السوداني إلى الخروج إلى الشارع لمقاومة أي انقلاب عسكري”، داعياً أيضاً “لجان المقاومة والقوى الثورية إلى تفعيل شبكة الاتصال الأرضي المجربة”.
وأضاف التجمّع، اليوم الإثنين، أنَّ “هناك أنباء عن تجهيز لقطع الإنترنت بعد اعتقال أغلب أعضاء الحكومة والمجلس السيادي
كما دعا إلى إضراب عام واعتصام مدني في مواجهة “الانقلاب العسكري
وقبل أيام، جدّدت قوى “إعلان الحرية والتغيير” في السودان دعمها لرئيس الوزراء عبد الله حمدوك، محذرةً من “انقلاب زاحف“.
وفي أيلول/سبتمبر الماضي، قال مصدرٌ عسكري سوداني إنّ “مجموعة انقلابية في السودان حاولت السيطرة على الأوضاع في البلاد”.
ويعيش السودان حالةً من التوتر منذ أن أفسحت محاولة انقلاب فاشلة الشهر الماضي المجال لتراشق حاد بالاتهامات بين الطرفين العسكري والمدني اللذين يفترض تقاسمهما السلطةَ بعد إطاحة الرئيس السابق عمر البشير في العام 2019.
وينظّم أنصار الجيش اعتصاماً أمام القصر الرئاسي لدعوة الجيش إلى حلّ الحكومة المدنية.
وشارك عدد من الوزراء الأسبوع الماضي في احتجاجات كبيرة في مناطق عدّة في الخرطوم ومدن أخرى ضد احتمالات أن يكون الحكم عسكرياً.
