Leader of the aṣ-Ṣadrī Movement in Iraq Muqtadā aṣ-Ṣadr confirms the aim to make the relations with those neighboring states friendly, which don’t intervene in the internal affairs of Iraq and warns the states from any action might be considered as interference with the Iraqi sovereignty.
Leader of the aṣ-Ṣadrī Movement in Iraq Muqtadā aṣ-Ṣadr the intention to make friendly relations with those neighboring states that have not interfered with the internal affairs of Iraq and to open a debate with the state which have clearly interfered in the Iraqi matters to completely prevent interferences.
Aṣ-Ṣadr added a statement of his today, on Sunday that “taking any action is considered interference with the Iraqi sovereignty and shall be the entrance of reducing out diplomatic representation, or other steps”. Thus confirming “not to allow intervention by any state in the Iraqi elections and its results, or in anything related to the coalitions or the formation of a government”.
Previously Deputy Sectary General of the “Bayāriq al-Hayr” Party Rāğiḥ al-‘Īsāwī beloved that a large number of the voters were deprived of their votes in the parliamentary elections, confirming that “the aṣ-Ṣadrī Movement will not be able on its own to form a government and it has to agree with others”.
The factions of the Iraqi Resistance previously today renounced the congratulation by the UNSC for the success of the legislative elections, believing that the election fraud is an international conspiracy in which local sides also contributed.
On the other hand leader of the “aṣ-Ṣadrī Movement” in Iraq, Muqtadā aṣ-Ṣadr also commented the Security Council statement saying that its support “for the Iraqi election results and was based on transparency, even more it surpassed all previous one technically gives a good image about the Iraqi democracy on the one hand, while also on the other gives hope by subduing those sides, which call for fraud in this democratic process”.
The Preparatory Council for Protests, which is rejecting the results of the parliamentary elections in Iraq had demanded previously from the Iraqi government to apply a manual recount process as in any previous elections, and it also called for the reconsideration of the current electoral law.
Iraq witnesses a wave of popular protests following the announcement of the parliamentary election results, which big groups of the political forces considered not to be right and doubted the honesty and validity of the vote counting process.
Also the Iraqi Electoral Commission announced that it approved 7 complaints of the 174 presented, and that happened at a time, when the High Council for the Protests rejecting the election results and blamed the Commission to be a failure, demanding the application of a new electoral system.
The preliminary results of the Iraqi parliamentary elections showed that the aṣ-Ṣadrī Movement obtained 73 seats out of the 329 members of the parliament. It is followed by the “Taqaddum [Progress]” Block led by the previous Speaker of the Parliament Muḥammad al-Ḥalbūsī, which obtained 38 seats. The “State of Law” Block under the leadership of Nūrī al-Mālikī came in to third and gained 37 seats.

زعيم التيار الصدري في العراق، مقتدى الصدر، يؤكّد السعي لتوطيد العلاقات مع دول الجوار التي لم تتدخل بشؤون العراق، ويحذّر الدول من أي فعل يُعتبر مساساً بالسيادة العراقية.
أعلن زعيم التيار الصدري في العراق، مقتدى الصدر، السعي لتوطيد العلاقات مع دول الجوار التي لم تتدخل في شؤون العراق، وفتح حوار مع الدول ذات التدخل الواضح في الشأن العراقي لمنع التدخلات مطلقاً.
وأضاف الصدر في بيان له اليوم الأحد أنّ “صدور أيّ فعل يعتبر مساساً بالسيادة العراقية سيكون باباً لتقليص التمثيل الدبلوماسي وغيره”، مؤكّداً “عدم السماح بتدخل أيّ دولةٍ بالانتخابات العراقية ونتائجها وما يترتب من تحالفات وتشكيل حكومة”.
وفي وقتٍ سابق، اعتبر نائب الأمين العام لحزب “بيارق الخير”، راجح العيساوي، أنّ نسبة كبيرة من المرشحين سُلِبت أصواتها في الانتخابات البرلمانية، مؤكداً أنّ “التيار الصدري لن يتسطيع بمفرده تأليف حكومة وعليه التوافق مع آخرين”.
واستنكرت فصائل المقاومة العراقية في وقت سابق اليوم تهنئة مجلس الأمن الدولي بنجاح الانتخابات التشريعية، معتبرةً أنّ تزوير الانتخابات مؤامرة دولية ساهمت فيها أطراف محلية.
في المقابل، علّق زعيم “التيار الصدري” في العراق، مقتدى الصدر، على بيان مجلس الأمن، قائلاً إنّ تأييده “لنتائج الانتخابات العراقية وتبني نزاهتها بل القول بأنها فاقت سابقاتها فنياً، يعكس صورة جميلة عن الديمقراطية العراقية من جهة، ويعطي الأمل لإذعان الأطراف التي تدعي التزوير في تلك العملية الديمقراطية من جهة أخرى”.
وكانت اللجنة التحضيرية للتظاهرات، الرافضة لنتائج الانتخابات البرلمانية في العراق، طالبت سابقاً الحكومة العراقية باعتماد آلية العد والفرز اليدويَّين في أي انتخابات مقبلة، كما دعت إلى إعادة النظر في قانون الانتخابات الحالي.
ويشهد العراق موجة من الاحتجاجات الشعبية، عقب إعلان نتائج الانتخابات البرلمانية، والتي اعتبرتها مجموعة كبيرة من القوى السياسية غير صحيحة، مشكّكةً في نزاهة عملية فرز الأصوات وصدقيتها.
كذلك أعلنت مفوضية الانتخابات العراقية الموافقة على 7 طعون مقدَّمة من أصل 174، في وقت وصفت فيه اللجنة العليا للتظاهرات، الرافضة نتائج الانتخابات، أداء المفوضية بالفاشل، مطالبة باعتماد نظام انتخابي جديد.
وأظهرت النتائج الأوّلية للانتخابات البرلمانية العراقية حصول التيار الصدري على 73 مقعداً من أصل 329، عدد أعضاء البرلمان، تلته كتلة “تقدّم” برئاسة رئيس البرلمان المنحل محمد الحلبوسي، وحصلت على 38 مقعداً. وحلّت كتلة “دولة القانون”، بزعامة نوري المالكي، ثالثةً، وحازت 37 مقعداً.
