Iran confirms that readiness of its defense forces after shooting down an enemy drone above the strategic waters of the Gulf.

The Fars News Agency reported that the Iranian Armed Forces managed to shoot down an enemy drone above the strategic waters of the Gulf via the use of the new “Āraš” type air defense system.

The news agency quoted certain officials saying that “this is a message from Iran that no stealth plane can penetrate the skies of the Gulf anymore from now on”.

It added that this step comes “to once again confirm Iran’s full control and security over the Gulf’s skies and the readiness of the defense forces to confront any aggression”.

It also pointed out that the technical and specific operational details of the new system “are still undisclosed and secret”.

Earlier on Monday Commander of the Iranian Central “Hātem al-Anbiyā’” Headquarters Major General ‘Alī ‘Abdullahī said that the Iranian military capabilities are still standing, despite the claims of the enemy about destroying the naval, areal and missile sectors during the recent imposed war.

He also announced that Iran will involve new systems to its services with the aim of confronting the areal attacks “more effectively than before”.

أفادت وكالة “فارس” بأنّ القوات الإيرانية تمكّنت، عبر إدخال منظومات جديدة من طراز “آرش”، من إسقاط طائرة مسيّرة معادية بنجاح فوق المياه الاستراتيجية للخليج.

ونقلت الوكالة عن مسؤولين معنيّين قولهم إنّ “هذه إشارة من إيران على عدم تمكّن أيّ طائرة مسيّرة شبحيّة بعد الآن من اختراق سماء الخليج”.

وأضافت أنّ هذا الإجراء يأتي “تأكيداً مجدّداً لسيادة إيران وأمنها الكاملين على الأجواء الحيوية للخليج، وجاهزية القوات الدفاعية للتصدّي لأيّ اعتداء

كما أشارت إلى أنّ التفاصيل الفنية والعملياتية الخاصّة بالمنظومة الجديدة “لا تزال طيّ الكتمان والسرية حتى الآن

وفي وقتٍ سابق اليوم، أكد قائد “مقر خاتم الأنبياء” المركزي في إيران، اللواء علي عبد اللهي، أنّ القدرات العسكرية الإيرانية ما زالت قائمة رغم ادّعاءات العدو تدمير القطاعات البحرية والجوية والصاروخية، خلال الحرب المفروضة الأخيرة.
