An insightful source close to the negotiating team told the Iranian Fars News Agency on Saturday that “despite the fact that the Americans might have practically backtracked from their initial steps and initial method relying on the threats and coercion and became aware that Iran will not bow to the mindset of force, there are still three core matters of differences standing”.
The source mentioned that “if these matters are not solved there will be no negotiation held”. The source outlined these matters as follows:
Firstly: Iran announced that it will not enter in round into negotiations about the nuclear case; and only if the other side implemented the conditions to build trust there would be talks about the nuclear questions in the next phase.
Secondly: the second and crucial condition for Iran to enter into negotiations is that the frozen Iranian assets have to be released and transferred first. Without this happening it will not enter into negotiations at all.
Thirdly: The other differences concentrate around the mechanism who the ships would cross the Strait of Hormuz, as the United States sets the condition that the Strait would fully return into the previous state, however, Iran says that it will only concede to the return of the previous number of ships to the former levels, but according to its Iranian process, as it would set which ships are allowed to cross and only provides permission to those that fulfill the conditions and only under the administration of Iran within the pathway it set.
The source explained that “despite the fact the United States have accepted the Iranian positions many times, there three major conditions are still standing and very seriously”. Thus underlining that “Iran have prepared itself for all possibilities”.
The Fars News Agency quoted its correspondent that some of the mediators aside from the American officials concerned with the indirect negotiations with Iran and the United States sent messages to the Iranian side during the process of exchanging texts through mediators, saying: “don’t give into the provocations of Trump”.
According to the source these officials underlined that the statements of American President Donald Trump in the media come within the framework of “internal media consumption”, confirming that his real position at the negotiating table differs from his public speeches.
In the same context the Fars News Agebcy quoted an insightful source about the primary position of Trump, which became known as the “15 points”, which would represent deal beyond the American requests, yet he couldn’t achieve these, even by choosing the war.
The source added that what is proposed now at the negotiating table clearly differs from these primary positions, pointing out that Trump “became aware that Iran is not a party that be subdued by provocations”, and now started to send messages through mediators saying that his public statements are only addressed to internal consumption and must not be explained as his final negotiating position.
No current negotiations about the nuclear matter
At the same time the Tasnīm News Agency reported an insightful source denying that there would be any truth in the circulating news about Iran providing an initiative to freeze the uranium enrichment above 3.6% for 10 years.
The source confirmed that these reports “are absolutely void of truth”, pointing out that the messages and the negotiations in the current phase solely concentrate on ending the war.
The source underlined that currently no details are discussed at all concerning the nuclear matter.
Baqā’ī: The United States has nothing to do with the matter of the Strait of Hormuz
The Iranian television quoted official spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmā‘īl Baqā’ī, who in Saturday said that “we are very far from being close to an agreement”.
The official spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed that in this phase the nuclear matter is not discussed, not the details of lifting the sanctions, pointing out that Tehran took a “responsible and wise” decision that the focus of the negotiations will be how to end the war on all fronts, including Lebanon.
As for the Strait of Hormuz the official spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed that the United States have nothing to do with this case, adding that the matter only concerns Iran and the coastal states.
He mentioned that “the matter of freeing the frozen Iranian assets will naturally be proposed and one of the matters that must be considered from the beginning and we have to provide solutions for this matter”.

قال مصدر مطلع مقرّب من الفريق المفاوض لوكالة “فارس” الإيرانية، السبت، إنه “على الرغم من أنّ الأميركيين قد تراجعوا عملياً عن خطواتهم الأولى وعن نهجهم الأوّلي القائم على التهديد والإغراء وأدركوا أنّ إيران لن تخضع لمنطق القوة إلا أنه لا تزال هناك ثلاث قضايا خلافية جوهرية قائمة”.
وذكر المصدر أنه “إذا لم تحلّ هذه القضايا فلن تجري المفاوضات”. وحدّد المصدر القضايا وفق الآتي:
أولاً: إيران أعلنت أنها لن تدخل في هذه الجولة في مفاوضات بشأن الملف النووي، وفقط في حال قام الطرف الآخر بتنفيذ شروط بناء الثقة سيتمّ الحديث عن المسائل النووية في الجولة المقبلة.
ثانياً: الشرط الثاني والأساسي لدخول إيران في المفاوضات هو أن يتمّ تحويل وإطلاق الأموال الإيرانية المجمّدة أولاً، ومن دون حدوث ذلك لن ندخل في المفاوضات أساساً.
ثالثاً: الخلاف الآخر يتمحور حول آلية عبور السفن في مضيق هرمز حيث تشترط الولايات المتحدة ضرورة عودة المضيق بالكامل إلى الأوضاع السابقة، لكنّ إيران تقول إنها تلتزم فقط بإعادة عدد السفن إلى المستوى السابق لكن وفق النموذج الإيراني الخاص بها بحيث تحدّد هي عدد السفن المسموح لها بالعبور وتمنح الإذن فقط لمن توافق عليه، وهذا يعني أنّ السفن يجب أن تمرّ تحت إدارة إيران ومن خلال المسار الذي تحدّده هي.
وأوضح المصدر أنه “على الرغم من أنّ الولايات المتحدة قبلت بمواقف إيران في الكثير من الحالات إلا أنّ هذه العقبات الثلاث الكبرى لا تزال قائمة وبجدّية”، مشدّداً على أنّ “إيران قد أعدّت نفسها للخيارات كافة
ونقلت وكالة “فارس” عن مراسلها أنّ بعض الوسطاء، إلى جانب مسؤولين أميركيين مرتبطين بالمفاوضات غير المباشرة بين إيران والولايات المتحدة، بعثوا برسائل إلى الجانب الإيراني خلال عملية تبادل النصوص عبر الوسيط، مفادها: “لا تكترثوا لتغريدات ترامب”.
وبحسب المصادر، شدّد هؤلاء المسؤولون على أنّ تصريحات الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب في وسائل الإعلام تأتي في إطار “الاستهلاك الإعلامي والداخلي”، مؤكّدين أنّ موقفه الحقيقي على طاولة المفاوضات يختلف عن خطابه العلني
وفي السياق ذاته، نقلت “فارس” عن مصدر مطلع أنّ موقف ترامب الأوّلي، الذي عُرف بـ”النقاط الـ15″، كان يمثّل سقفاً مرتفعاً للمطالب الأميركية، لكنه لم يتمكّن من تحقيقه، حتى عبر خيار الحرب.
وأضاف المصدر أنّ ما يُطرح حالياً على طاولة المفاوضات يختلف بشكل واضح عن تلك المواقف الأولية، مشيراً إلى أنّ ترامب “أدرك أنّ إيران ليست طرفاً يمكن إخضاعه بالابتزاز”، وأنه بات يرسل عبر الوسطاء رسائل تفيد بأنّ تصريحاته الإعلامية موجّهة للاستهلاك الداخلي فقط، ولا ينبغي تفسيرها باعتبارها موقفاً تفاوضياً نهائياً.
لا مباحثات حالية بالملف النووي
يأتي ذلك بينما نقلت وكالة “تسنيم” عن مصدر مطّلع نفيه صحة الأخبار المتداولة بشأن تقديم إيران مقترحاً يقضي بتجميد تخصيب اليورانيوم فوق نسبة 3.6% لمدة 10 سنوات.
وأكّد المصدر أنّ هذه الأنباء “عارية من الصحة”، مشيراً إلى أنّ تركيز الرسائل والمحادثات في المرحلة الراهنة ينصبّ حصراً على مسألة إنهاء الحرب.
وشدّد المصدر على أنّه لا تجري، في الوقت الحالي، مناقشة أيّ تفاصيل تتعلّق بالملف النووي على الإطلاق
بقائي: الولايات المتحدة لا علاقة لها بملف مضيق هرمز
وكان قد نقل التلفزيون الإيراني عن المتحدّث باسم الخارجية الإيرانية إسماعيل بقائي، قوله يوم السبت، إنّه “نحن بعيدون جداً وقريبون جداً من الاتفاق”.
وأكّد المتحدّث باسم الخارجية الإيرانية أنّ المفاوضات في هذه المرحلة لا تبحث الموضوع النووي ولا تفاصيل رفع العقوبات، مشيراً إلى أنّ طهران اتخذت قراراً “مسؤولاً وحكيماً” بأن يكون محور التفاوض هو إنهاء الحرب على جميع الجبهات، بما في ذلك لبنان
وفي ما يتعلّق بمضيق هرمز، أكّد المتحدّث باسم الخارجية الإيرانية أنّ الولايات المتحدة لا علاقة لها بهذا الملف، مضيفاً أنّه موضوع يخصّ إيران والدول الساحلية.
