Tunisian President Qays Sa‘īd decides to end the appointment of a number of other government officials. They are the directors of some of the important positions in the state.
Tunisian President Qays Sa‘īd on Tuesday night decided to end the appointment of yet another group of state officials, who work in high ranking posts.
The decisions, which Sa‘īd issued to end the appointment of general secretary of the government Walīd ad-Dahabī, the director of the Prime Minister’s office ‘Izz ad-Dīn Allah al-Muqaddam, the director of the General Institution for Martyrs and Wounded of the Revolution and Terrorist Operations ‘Abd ar-Razzāq al-Kīlānī, and the director of the Military tribunal Tawfīq al-‘Uyūnī.
These decisions come after the previously taken ones the Tunisian President started on Sunday, as Sa‘īd announced to depose Prime Minister Hišām al-Mašīšī and take over the executive power. That came after an emergency meeting led by him with the commanders of the army and the security in the aftermath of protests breaking out in a number of Tunisian cities. He also deposed a number of ministers, including the Minister of Defense, Interior and Justice.
Sa ‘īd confirmed during his interview with a number of “national organizations” that “the decisions I take came as enacting the text of the constitution, and not as a putsch against it”.

الرئيس التونسي قيس سعيّد يقرر إنهاء مهمّات عدد آخر من المسؤولين الحكوميين، هم مدراء بعض الإدارات المهمة في الدولة.
قرر الرئيس التونسي قيس سعيّد، مساء الثلاثاء، إنهاء مهمّات مجموعةٍ جديدةٍ من مسؤولي الدولة، الذين يشغلون مناصب رفيعة.
وشملت القرارات التي أصدرها سعيّد إنهاء مهمّات كلٍّ من الكاتب العام للحكومة وليد الذهبي، ومدير ديوان رئيس الحكومة المعز لدين الله المقدم، ورئيس الهيئة العامة لشهداء وجرحى الثورة والعمليات الإرهابية عبد الرزاق الكيلاني، ومدير القضاء العسكري توفيق العيوني.
وتنضمّ هذه القرارات إلى ما سبقها من قرارات، بدأها الرئيس التونسي يوم الأحد، بحيث أعلن سعيّد إعفاء رئيس الحكومة هشام المشيشي وتوليه السلطة التنفيذية، وذلك بعد ترؤّسه اجتماعاً طارئاً للقيادات العسكرية والأمنية، في إثر عودة الاحتجاجات إلى عدد من المدن التونسية. كما أعفى عدداً من الوزراء، بينهم وزراء الدفاع والداخلية والعدل.
وأكّد سعيّد، خلال استقباله عدداً من “المنظمات الوطنية”، أنَّ “القرارات التي أتخذها كانت تنفيذاً لنص الدستور، وليست انقلاباً عليه
