After his arrival in the Czech Republic, Emir of Qatar Tamīm ibn Ḥamad Āl Tānī cuts his scheduled journey short planned for three days and leaves Prague on the first day.
The Czech media mentioned that Emir of Qatar Tamīm ibn Ḥamad Āl Tānī, who arrived in the Czech Republic on Wednesday by official invitation cut his visit short. The visit was scheduled to last for 3 days, yet he left Prague on the first day.
The Czech “Deník N” newspaper cited diplomatic sources that the Emir of Qatar “presented demands the Czech diplomacy could not respond to”, and left Prague on Wednesday, though the program of the visit included the official ceremonies on 5 and 6 October.
The Emir of Qatar held negotiations in the Czech capital with Miloš Zeman and met with Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala.
The Emir of Qatar said that with Zeman a number of matters, including health and energy. In the joint press conference with Zeman in Prague, he underlined the position of the State of Qatar and the call for solving the differences between the states by relying on dialogue and diplomacy.
It was scheduled that on Friday he would meet the leaders of the European Union on the side of the next unofficial meetings of the heads of state and Prime Ministers of the union in the Prague Palace.
Previously Jirzy Oftišek, representative of Prague Palace stated that the negotiations with Qatar, which has huge natural gas reserves, could help to overcome the reliance of the country on the import of this commodity from the Russian Federation. The visit of the Emir of Qatar was the first in the history of Czech-Qatari relations.
It should be pointed out that currently, the Czech Republic holds the presidency of the European Union.

بعد وصوله إلى جمهورية التشيك، أمير دولة قطر تميم بن حمد آل ثاني يقطع زيارته المقررة لثلاثة أيام، ويغادر براغ في اليوم الأول
ذكرت وسائل إعلام تشيكية أن أمير قطر تميم بن حمد آل ثاني الذي وصل إلى جمهورية التشيك يوم الأربعاء بدعوة رسمية قطع زيارته التي كان من المقرر أن تستمر 3 أيام قبل الموعد المحدد، وغادر براغ في اليوم الأول
ونقلت صحيفة “Deník N” التشيكية عن مصادر دبلوماسية أنَّ أمير قطر “طرح مطالب لا تستطيع الدبلوماسية التشيكية تلبيتها”، وغادر براغ يوم الأربعاء، فيما برنامج الزيارة تضمن فعاليات رسمية يومي 5 و6 من شهر تشرين الأول/أكتوبر
وأجرى أمير قطر في العاصمة التشيكية محادثات مع الرئيس ميلوس زيمان، والتقى رئيس مجلس وزراء التشيك بيتر فيالا
وقال أمير قطر إنه بحث وزيمان مواضيع عدة، من بينها الصحة والطاقة. وشدّد في مؤتمر صحافي مشترك مع زيمان في براغ على موقف دولة قطر الداعي إلى حل الخلافات بين الدول عبر اعتماد الحوار والدبلوماسية
وكان من المقرر أن يلتقي يوم الجمعة زعماء الاتحاد الأوروبي على هامش القمة غير الرسمية التالية لرؤساء دول وحكومات دول المجموعة في قلعة براغ
وفي وقت سابق، صرَّح جيري أوفتشيك، ممثل قلعة براغ، بأن المفاوضات مع قطر، التي تمتلك احتياطيات كبيرة من الغاز الطبيعي، يمكن أن تساعد في التغلب على اعتماد البلاد على توريد هذا النوع من المواد الخام من الاتحاد الروسي، فيما كانت زيارة أمير قطر الأولى في تاريخ العلاقات التشيكية القطرية.
