Commander of the “Rapid Support Forces” Muḥammad Ḥamdān Daqalū says tells his troops that “the halter is with you” in the ongoing war with the Sudanese Army.

Commander of the “Rapid Support Forces” Muḥammad Ḥamdān Daqalū (Ḥamīdtī) tells his troops: “the halter is with you”. This came after he lost control over the strategic highway during the battles the Sudanese Army.
After his forces, which are accused of committing war crimes, lost control over the main highway that connects Khartoum and the city of al-Ubayḍ, in a video message addressed “to the forces in those first lines” Daqalū said that “the halter” in not in his hand, adding that “the halter is with you, the halter is in your hands”.
The city of al-Ubayḍ, which the Rapid Support Forces have been aiming to completely surround for months, have suffered drone attacks after the Sudanese Army restored control over the highway connecting this city in the region with the capital Khartoum.
Local officials in this city, which is the capital of Northern Kurdufān, attributed these strikes to the Rapid Support Forces that have been mobilizing for months around it in an attempt to surround it and launch a large scale attack. This caused international fears about horrific acts in the city.
“A huge victory” for the Sudanese Army
After progress during the last few days in Northern Kurdufān Province the army on Sunday managed to push the Rapid Support Forces to west and take control over the highway connecting Omdurman and al-Ubayḍ that stretches to more than 400 kilometers. This is according to two military sources of the “France Press” agency.
One of the two sources said that “our forces have secured the export highway between al-Ubayḍ and Omdurman and that opens a second supply route to the city of al-Ubayḍ and even beyond”, considering all that a “huge victory after the losses we had inflicted in lives and equipment”.
On Monday the Sudanese Army published a video recording showing its commander ‘Abd al-Fattāḥ al-Burhān while he was surveying the region of Ğabrat aș-Šayh that was one of the last strongholds of the Rapid Support Forces in Northern Kurdufān.
On the side of al-Burhān had appeared Governor of Dārfūr Region Mannī Munāwī, Commander of the “Sudanese Liberation Army” Movement that is allied to the army and Commander of the “Sudan Shield Forces” Abū ‘Āqila Kaykal, which had defected from the Rapid Support Forces.
There have been no reports of casualties in the last attack. According to the U. N. since the beginning of the year the drone attacks from both sides have caused the death of more than people in Kurdufān alone.
The war in Sudan have so far caused the death of more than 200 thousand people according to the estimates of the scientists working on the field of relief. It has also caused a refugee and a famine crisis around the world. According to the U. N. agency currently around 33 million people are in need of humanitarian aid.

قال قائد قوات “الدعم السريع” في السودان محمد حمدان دقلو (حميدتي) لعناصره: “الرسن عندكم”، وذلك غداة فقدانه السيطرة على طريق استراتيجي في المعارك مع الجيش السوداني.
وغداة فقدان قواته، المتهمة بارتكاب جرائم حرب، السيطرة على طريق رئيسي يربط بين الخرطوم ومدينة الأبيض، قال دقلو في رسالة بالفيديو وجّهها “إلى القوات في الخطوط الأمامية”، إن “الرسن” ليس في يديه، مضيفاً “الرسن معكم، الرسن في يدكم”.
وتعرضّت مدينة الأبيض التي سعت قوات الدعم السريع لتطويقها بالكامل منذ أشهر، الاثنين، لهجمات بطائرات مسيّرة، بعدما استعاد الجيش السوداني السيطرة على طريق سريع يربط هذه المدينة في منطقة كردفان بالعاصمة الخرطوم.
ونسب مسؤولون محليون في المدينة، وهي عاصمة ولاية شمال كردفان، هذه الضربات إلى قوات الدعم السريع التي تحشد منذ أشهر قواتها في محيطها سعياً لتطويقها وشنّ هجوم واسع. وأثار ذلك مخاوف دولية من ارتكاب فظاعات في المدينة
“انتصار كبير” للجيش السوداني
وبعد تقدم في الأيام الماضية في ولاية شمال كردفان، تمكن الجيش الأحد من إبعاد قوات الدعم السريع إلى الغرب، والسيطرة على الطريق السريع الرابط بين أم درمان والأبيّض البالغ طوله 400 كيلومتر، بحسب ما أفاد مصدران عسكريان وكالة “فرانس برس”.
وقال أحد المصدرين إن “قواتنا أمنت طريق الصادرات بين الأبيّض وأم درمان، وهذا يفتح طريقاً ثانياً لإمداد مدينة الأبيّض وما بعدها”، معتبراً أن ذلك “انتصار كبير بعد الخسائر التي ألحقناها في الأرواح والمعدات”.
ونشر الجيش السوداني، الاثنين، تسجيل فيديو يظهر قائده عبد الفتاح البرهان خلال تفقّده منطقة جبرة الشيخ التي كانت تُعدّ أحد آخر معاقل قوات الدعم السريع في شمال كردفان.
وبدا إلى جانب البرهان حاكم إقليم دارفور مني مناوي، قائد حركة “جيش تحرير السودان” المتحالفة مع الجيش، وقائد “قوات درع السودان” أبو عاقلة كيكل، المنشق عن قوات الدعم السريع.
ولم ترد تقارير عن وقوع إصابات في الهجوم الأخير. ومنذ مطلع العام، أودت هجمات بطائرات مسيّرة من الطرفين بأكثر من ألف شخص في منطقة كردفان وحدها، وفقاً للأمم المتحدة.
وأسفرت الحرب في السودان عن مقتل أكثر من 200 ألف شخص، بحسب تقديرات لعاملين في مجال الإغاثة. كما تسببت في أكبر أزمتي نزوح وجوع في العالم، بحسب منظمات دولية، في وقت يحتاج 33 مليون شخص إلى المساعدات الإنسانية
