Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Jerusalem Forces Brigadier General Esmā‘īl Qāānī confirmed that lifting the blockade imposed on Yemen represents “a just and humanitarian request” for the Yemeni people.
Qāānī has called upon the Saudi government to benefit from the experience of the “irrational and unfounded behaviors” of the United States and strive to end the blockade imposed on Yemen.
He added that striving to save Gaza, according to his expression, “is a source of pride”, while considering the continuation of the blockade of the Yemeni people does not serve the stability of the region.
Official spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmå‘īl Baqā’ī had confirmed that the Yemeni crises “has no military solution”, underlining the need to increase efforts to reach a just solution preventing the escalation of insecurity and instability in the region.
Baqā’ī said that returning to the negotiations and implementing the agreed upon roadmap represent “the only path to end the sufferings of the Yemeni people and to preserve the safety of the region”.
Sana’a had announced closing the Strait of Bāb al-Mandab for the Saudi related maritime movements, in response to the Saudi blockade over Yemen.

أكد قائد قوة القدس في حرس الثورة الإيرانية العميد إسماعيل قاآني أن رفع الحصار المفروض على اليمن يمثل “مطلباً عادلاً وإنسانياً” للشعب اليمني.
ودعا قاآني الحكومة السعودية إلى الاستفادة من تجربة “السلوكيات غير العقلانية والمكلفة” للولايات المتحدة، والعمل على إنهاء الحصار المفروض على اليمن.
وأضاف أن السعي لإنقاذ غزة، وفق تعبيره، “مصدر فخر”، معتبراً أن مواصلة حصار الشعب اليمني لا تخدم الاستقرار في المنطقة
وكان المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية إسماعيل بقائي قد أكد أن الأزمة اليمنية “لا حل عسكرياً لها“، مشدداً على ضرورة تكثيف الجهود للتوصل إلى حل عادل يمنع تصاعد انعدام الأمن وعدم الاستقرار في المنطقة.
وقال بقائي إن العودة إلى الحوار وتنفيذ خارطة الطريق المتفق عليها يمثلان “السبيل الوحيد لإنهاء معاناة الشعب اليمني والحفاظ على أمن المنطقة
