Qatar confirms that the Gulf reconciliation agreement will not affect it relations with Iran and Turkey. The Emirates announces the return of trade and transportation movement with Qatar within a week.
Qatar stressed that it will not change the nature of its relations with Turkey and Iran after signing the Gulf reconciliation agreement.
Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Muḥammad ibn ‘Abd ar-Raḥmān Āl Tānī pointed out in his talk with “Financial Times” magazine that Doha has agreed to cooperate on combating terrorism and on cross-border security with Saudi Arabia and the other three countries, expressing his hope that the other states involved in the Gulf crisis will follow the same political will that Saudi Arabia pursues, according to his expression.
On his own term, Emirati State Minister for Foreign Affairs Anwār Qarqāš said that the return of trade and transportation movement with Qatar will take place within a week after the singing of the al-‘Alā Agreement.
This happens after the participants of the “al-‘Ulā” Gulf Summit signed the “al-‘Ulā Agreement”, which contains a reconciliation agreement between Qatar and the Gulf states.
The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister has already confirmed the opening of the land, areal and maritime borders between Saudi Arabia and Qatar as a start of the reconciliation ending the Gulf crisis, which went on since 2017 when 3 Gulf states and Egypt blockaded Doha accusing it with interference in their domestic affairs.

شددت قطر على أنها لن تغيّر طبيعة علاقاتها مع تركيا وإيران بعد توقيع اتفاق المصالحة الخليجية
نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية القطري محمد بن عبد الرحمن آل ثاني أشار في حديثٍ لصحيفة “فايننشال تايمز ” إلى أن الدوحة وافقت على التعاون في مكافحة الإرهاب والأمن العابر للحدود مع السعودية وثلاث دولٍ أخرى، معرباً عن أمله في أن تحظى الدول الأخرى المتورطة في نزاع الخليج بالإرادة السياسية ذاتها التي يتمتع بها السعوديون على حد تعبيره
من جهته، قال وزير الدولة الإماراتي للشؤون الخارجية أنور قرقاش إن عودة حركة النقل والتجارة مع قطر ستكون خلال أسبوع ٍمن التوقيع على اتفاق العلا
قرقاش في مؤتمر ٍصحافي قال إن الأزمة خلال السنوات الماضية كانت قاسيةً إعلامياً ولم تتضمنْ أعمالاً سلبيةً على أرض الواقع وتابع أن اتفاق العلا كان نتيجة جهدٍ سعودي ووساطةٍ كويتيةٍ وأميركية
يأتي ذلك بعد توقيع المشاركين في قمة “العلا” الخليجية على “بيان العلا” الذي يتضمن اتفاق المصالحة بين قطر والدول الخليجية
وكان وزير الخارجية الكويتي قد أعلن عن فتح الحدود البرية والبحرية بين السعودية وقطر، إيذاناً بمصالحة تنهي الأزمة الخليجية التي استمرت منذ 2017، حيث قاطعت 3 دول خليجية ومصر، الدوحة لاتهامها بالتدخل في شؤونهم الداخلية
