Unknown people targeted the American base in the “al-‘Umar oilfield” in rural Dayr az-Zūr in Eastern Syria with a number of howitzer shells.

The so-called Syrian Observer of Human Rights said that the American forces and the forces of the Syrian Democratic Forces started to comb the area for medium and heavy weapons around the oilfield, pointing out that there is no information on the losses until now.
Also, unknown people opened fire on the car of the officials in charge of the defense of the oil wells close to the Bi’r al-Azraq on the at-Tanak oilfield northeast of Dayr az-Zūr without causing injuries by the attack.
It should be mentioned that last February Washington started to expand its base at the al-‘Umar oilfield, which is one of its biggest bases in Syria, while the al-‘Umar oilfield counts to be the biggest one in Syria.

كذلك استهدف مجهولون بالأسلحة الرشاشة سيارة مسؤول عن حماية الآبار النفطية، قرب بئر الأزرق في حقل التنك النفطي شمال شرق دير الزور، دون أن يسفر الاستهداف عن إصابات
يذكر أن واشنطن قامت في فبراير الماضي بتوسيع قاعدتها في حقل العمر التي تعد إحدى أكبر قواعدها في سوريا في فبراير الماضي في حين يعد حقل العمر أكبر الحقول السورية
