Cairo: “The Gulf”
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in an announcement yesterday, on Tuesday that Foreign Minister Sāmiḥ Šukrī left Saudi Arabia returning home after he signed the “al-‘Ulā Statement”, which guaranteed the solidarity and stability.
The Foreign Ministry added that this comes in the context of the permanent Egyptian regard for solidarity between the four Arabic states and for their approach to work together, to remove any stain from among the brotherly Arab states and to reinforce the common Arab work struggling against the major threats the region witnesses. This is what Egypt always upheld.
The Ministry confirmed the necessity to build upon this important step in order to support the flow of the common Arab work and to support the relations between the brotherly Arab states emanating from the relations built on goodwill and lack of interference in the internal affairs of Arab states. The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that Cairo values and welcomes any dedicated effort taken to bring the four Arab states and Qatar closer. At the top of it all the efforts of the brotherly State of Kuwait all along the past few years.

قالت وزارة الخارجية المصرية، في بيان أمس الثلاثاء، إن سامح شكري، وزير الخارجية غادر السعودية عائداً إلى أرض الوطن، بعد أن قام بالتوقيع على «بيان العلا» الذي أكد التضامن والاستقرار
وأضافت الخارجية أن ذلك يأتي في إطار الحرص المصري الدائم على التضامن بين دول الرباعي العربي، وتوجههم نحو تكاتف الصف، وإزالة أية شوائب بين الدول العربية الشقيقة، ومن أجل تعزيز العمل العربي المشترك في مواجهة التحديات الجسام التي تشهدها المنطقة، وهو ما دأبت عليه مصر بشكل دائم
وأكدت الخارجية حتمية البناء على هذه الخطوة المهمة، من أجل تعزيز مسيرة العمل العربي، ودعم العلاقات بين الدول العربية الشقيقة، انطلاقاً من علاقات قائمة على حسن النوايا، وعدم التدخل في الشؤون الداخلية للدول العربية. وشددت الخارجية المصرية على أن القاهرة تقدر وتثمّن كل جهد مخلص بذل للتقريب بين دول الرباعي العربي وقطر، وفي مقدمتها جهود دولة الكويت الشقيقة على مدار السنوات الماضية
