Speaker of the Iranian Consultative Council Moḥammad Bāqer Qālībāf during his visit to Iraq confirms that the Axis of Resistance today is stronger than ever confronting the global arrogance. He points out that the confrontation of the sanctions must be planned for.

On Friday Speaker of the Iranian Consultative Council Moḥammad Bāqer Qālībāf confirmed that the “Axis of Resistance today is stronger than ever confronting the global arrogance”.
He added: “We are not calling for a war and we are not looking for it, but we preserve the Islamic principle, which is that we will not allow any people to come and trample on our dignity and honor and just simply leave”.
Qālībāf had arrived in the Holy an-Nağaf Province in Iraq on Friday morning, where according to the Iraqi WA‘A News Agency he concluded his visit by heading to the grave of Martyr Abū Mahdī al-Muhandis.
On his behalf Qālībāf expressed his thanks to the Iraqi people for the morning ceremonies for the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Republic Martyr as-Sayyid ‘Alī Hāmeneī in Holy an-Nağaf and Holy Karbalā. He pointed out that Iraq has been hosting millions of Iranian pilgrims for years during the time of the al-Arba‘īn pilgrimages.
Qālībăf: The confrontation against the sanctions must be planned for
Meeting with Iranian and Iraqi economists in Baghdad, Qālībāf confirmed the readiness of “sacrificing wealth and positions” to defend dignity.
He said that “our enemies come to steal the resources of the Islamic countries”, under these conditions calling for planning to confront the sanctions and to overcome them.
It should be remembered that American President Donald Trump had announced on Thursday launching what he called “the most severe economic destructive operation to ever taken against any country” by his own expression, against Iran. Trump described the operation “economic war and unprecedented isolation”. This came after what he called “Tehran failing to take the chance given to it to reach an agreement”.
Qālībāf had arrived in Bagdad on Wednesday leading a parliamentary delegation, where he met with leading Iraqi officials and a number of leading personalities, including Iraqi President Nizār Āmīdī, Iraqi Prime Minister ‘Alī Fāliḥ az-Zaydī and Iraqi Speaker of the Parliament Haybat al-Ḥalabūsī.

رئيس مجلس الشورى الإسلامي الإيراني محمد باقر قاليباف يؤكد خلال زيارته العراق أن محور المقاومة اليوم أقوى من أي وقت مضى في مواجهة الاستكبار العالمي، ويشير إلى وحوب التخطيط لمواجهة العقوبات.

أكّد رئيس مجلس الشورى الإسلامي الإيراني محمد باقر قاليباف، اليوم الجمعة، أن “محور المقاومة اليوم أقوى من أي وقت مضى في مواجهة الاستكبار العالمي”.
وأضاف: “لسنا دعاة حرب ولا نسعى إليها، لكننا نؤمن بمبدأ إسلامي وهو أننا لن نسمح لأشخاص أن يأتوا ويدوسوا عزتنا وشرفنا ثم يرحلوا”.
وكان قاليباف، قد وصل صباح الجمعة، إلى محافظة النجف الأشرف في العراق، حيث استهل زيارته بالتوجه إلى قبر الشهيد أبو مهدي المهندس، وفق وكالة الأنباء العراقية “واع”
بدوره، توجه قاليباف بالشكر إلى الشعب العراقي على مراسم تشييع قائد الثورة والجمهورية الإسلامية، الشهيد السيد علي خامنئي في النجف الأشرف وكربلاء المقدسة، مشيراً إلى استضافة العراق، على مدى سنوات، ملايين الزائرين الإيرانيين خلال الزيارة الأربعينية.
قاليباف: يجب التخطيط لمواجهة العقوبات
وفي اجتماع مع اقتصاديين إيرانيين وعراقيين في بغداد، أكد قاليباف الاستعداد “للتضحية بالمال والمنصب” والصمود دفاعاً عن العزة.
وقال إن “أعداءنا يأتون لنهب موارد البلدان الإسلامية”، داعياً في ظل هذه الظروف إلى التخطيط لمواجهة العقوبات وتجاوزها.
يُذكر، أن الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، كان قد أعلن يوم أمس، إطلاق ما سمّاه “أشد عملية اقتصادية تدميرية تُتخذ على الإطلاق ضد أي دولة”، بحسب تعبيره، ضد إيران. ووصف ترامب العملية بـ”حرب اقتصادية وعزلة غير مسبوقة”، وذلك عقب ما سمّاه “فشل طهران في اغتنام الفرصة الممنوحة لها للتوصل إلى اتفاق”.
وكان قاليباف قد وصل بغداد أول من أمس، على رأس وفد برلماني، حيث التقى كبار المسؤولين العراقيين وعدداً من الشخصيات البارزة، من بينهم الرئيس العراقي نزار آميدي، ورئيس مجلس الوزراء العراقي علي فالح الزيدي، ورئيس مجلس النواب العراقي، هيبت الحلبوسي.
