Iranian Foreign Minister ‘Abbās ‘Arāqčī confirms that the American sanctions and the maximum pressure politics have proven to fail before. He underlined the futility of the current intentions to undermine his country.

Irani Foreign Minister ‘Abbās ‘Arāqčī confirmed the failure of the punitive American policies and sanctions against his country, pointing out that 14 prior the most severe destructive sanctions in history have failed, just like 8 years ago the “maximum pressure” sanctions.
In the context of his comment on the American behavior ‘Arāqčī said: “We have seen this movie before and it’s the same false with other shouters”.
‘Arāqčī added that 5 months ago betting on “unconditional surrender” has failed, confirming that what is today called as “the most severe economic eradication operation ever” is just as doomed to fail.
On Thursday ‘Arāqčī warned about the consequences of pressure politics that is conducted by the United States, confirming that “the American economic terrorism threatens the global economy and the sovereignty of every corner of the world”.
The statements of ‘Arāqčī came in response to the announcement of American President Donald Trump launching what he called “the most severe economic destruction operation ever taken against a country”, explaining in a Truth Social platform post that these will include “economic war and unprecedented isolation”. This after what he claimed as “Tehran’s failure to take the chance given to it to reach an agreement”.

أكّد وزير الخارجية الإيراني، عباس عراقتشي، فشل السياسات والعقوبات الأميركية المتعاقبة ضدّ بلاده، مبيّناً أنه قبل 14 عاماً فشلت أشدّ العقوبات تدميراً في التاريخ، كما فشلت قبل 8 أعوام سياسة عقوبات “الضغط الأقصى”.
وفي سياق تعليقه على السلوك الأميركي، قال عراقتشي: “لقد شاهدنا هذا الفيلم من قبل وهو الهراء نفسه مع اختلاف المتنمّرين
وأضاف عراقتشي أنّه قبل 5 أشهر فشل رهان “الاستسلام غير المشروط”، مؤكّداً أنّ ما يُسمّى اليوم بـ “أشدّ عملية اقتصادية سحقاً على الإطلاق” محكومة هي الأخرى بالفشل.
وأمس الخميس، حذّر عراقتشي، من تداعيات سياسات الضغط التي تمارسها الولايات المتحدة، مؤكّداً أنّ “الإرهاب الاقتصادي الأميركي يُهدّد الاقتصاد العالمي والسيادة في جميع أنحاء العالم”.
