Mufti of Syrian aš-Šayh Aḥmad Badr ad-Dīn Ḥassūn says that the aim of Syria’s enemies was its destruction and confirms that there are who wanted to hand over the power in Egypt and Syria to extremists only to give an excuse to the Zionists to destroy these two countries.
Mufti of Syrian aš-Šayh Aḥmad Badr ad-Dīn Ḥassūn said that Syria opened its heart for all the Palestinian resistance and will not turn its back to them, despite all was offered to it it. Thus calling upon the Palestinians to be aware of what is planned against them, pointing out that the aim was to tear apart this nation to sects, denominations, ethnicities, so the Palestinian cause would be forgotten.
Mufti Ḥassūn added talking to al-Mayadeen that “for what we pay the price today is because of our stance when we refused to give concessions in this matter to “Israel”. Thus confirming that Palestine is the crown of Syria, Lebanon is its lungs and Jordan is its back.
Commenting on the Syrian election results Muftī Ḥassūn said that what happened yesterday on the Syrian squares is “a message from our youth intended to the whole world”, and added: “We are in Syria carrying a mission, not carrying out policies and that is why the attack was against Syria”.
Muftī Ḥassūn sent a message to Syrian President Baššār al-Asad saying: “What I have seen from the youth of Syria on the squares is not for your person, but for the mission you are carrying”. He also said to the Syrians: “You sacrificed the blood of your martyrs and gave a lesson to the worlds that you know no hatred”.
He also had a message to the Kurds in Syria and said to them: “Your dignity is in Damascus, not in Washington”.
He underlined that “the enemies of Syria did not plan to change the system there. They aim was to destroy it”. He added: “There are no religious slogans anymore, not in Idlib, nor in Eastern Syria, there are only mercenary groups”. Thus confirming that “the popular resistance is on the way inevitably and we will not let nor America, nor its tail to stay in Eastern Syria, nor in Idlib”.
He added: “I say to those, who join ranks with the occupiers in Northern Syria, you shall encounter us there and in Idlib sooner or later”. Thus expressing that “what terrorism happened in Syria, in that Western and Arab countries took part. They transported terrorists to this country”.
After that, he underlined: “Syria is an Arab country, in which there are ethnicities, and citizens. They are all Syrians, either Muslims or Christians. They are the children of the same one homeland”. Ḥassūn said that the religious sermons were used by some rulers and scholars of dissent to tear this nation apart”.
He confirmed that there were who wanted to hand over the power in Egypt and Syria to extremists, so to give an excuse for the Zionists to destroy these two countries”. Stressing what differentiates the real revolutionary from the remote-controlled one is that the latter chose to be the slave of others.
It should be remembered that Syrian President Baššār al-Asad in his speech today, Friday following his victory in the elections confirmed that the Syrian people learned what is revolution, they returned to it and restored it after its name had been tarnished “by mercenaries, who were slaves of the dollars”. He also pointed out that “the energy of this brave people is what gives power to this homeland and leads it to victories and achievements”.
المفتي حسون للميادين: المقاومة الشعبية قادمة لا محالة في شرقيّ سوريا وإدلب

مفتي سوريا الشيخ أحمد بدر الدين حسون يقول إن أعداء سوريا كان هدفهم تدميرها، ويؤكّد أن هناك مَن أرادوا تسليم الحُكم في مصر وسوريا إلى المتطرفين ليبرِّروا للصهيونية تدمير هذين البلدين
قال مفتي سوريا الشيخ أحمد بدر الدين حسون، إن سوريا فتحت صدرها لكل مقاومة فلسطينية ولم تتخلَّ عنهم على الرغم مما عُرض عليها، داعياً الفلسطينيين الى الانتباه لما يُخَطَّط لهم، مشيراً إلى أن الهدف كان أن تتمزَّق هذه الأمةُ مَذاهبَ وطوائفَ واعراقاً لتُنسى القضيةُ الفلسطينية
وأضاف المفتي حسون، في حديث إلى الميادين، أن “ما ندفع ثمنه اليوم هو بسبب الموقف الذي رفضنا ان نعطيه في قضية التسوية مع “إسرائيل”، مؤكداً أن فلسطين تاجُ سوريا ولبنانَ رئتُها والأردنَّ ظهرُها
وتعليقاً على نتائج الانتخابات السورية، قال المفتي حسون إن ما جرى في الأمس في ساحات سوريا هو “رسالة وجَّهها شبابنا إلى كل العالم”، وأضاف “نحن في سوريا حمَلةُ رسالة ولسنا حملة سياسة، لذلك كان الهجوم على سوريا
ووجّه المفتي حسون رسالة إلى الرئيس السوري بشار الأسد، قائلاً: “إن ما رأيته من شباب سوريا في الساحات هو ليس من أجل شخصك، وإنما بسبب رسالة حملتَها”، وقال للسوريين “سلمتم بدماء شهدائكم، ولقد أعطيتم درساً للعالم مفادها أنكم لا تعرفون الكراهيّة
كذلك، توجّه برسالة إلى الكرد في سوريا، وقال لهم “عزّكم في دمشق، وليس في واشنطن
وشدَّد على أن “أعداء سوريا لم يهدفوا إلى تغيير النظام فيها، وإنما كان هدفهم تدميرها”، وأضاف “لم يبقَ هناك شعارات دينية لا في إدلب ولا في شرقي سوريا، بل هناك مجموعات من المرتزقة”، مؤكداً أن “المقاومة الشعبية قادمة لا محالة، ولن نُبقي أميركياً ولا ذنباً له لا في شرقي سوريا ولا في إدلب
وأضاف “أقول لمن يقفون مع المحتل في الشمال السوري، ستروننا هناك وفي إدلب، عاجلاً أو آجلاً”، معتبراً أن “ما حدث في سوريا من إرهاب ساهمت فيه دول غربية وعربية، كانت تنقل الإرهابيين الى هذه البلاد
وبعد أن شدَّد أن “سوريا بلد عربي فيه أعراق ومواطنون، كلهم سوريون مسلمون ومسيحيون، وهم أبناء وطن واحد”، قال حسون إن الخطاب الديي استخدمه بعض الحكام وعلماء الفتنة لتمزيق الأمة
وأكّد أن هناك مَن أرادوا تسليم الحكم في مصر وسوريا إلى المتطرِّفين ليبرِّروا للصهيونية تدمير هذين البلدين، مشدداً على أن الفارق بين الثائر الحقيقي والثائر المسيَّر هو أن الأخير اختار أن يكون عبداً للآخرين
ميُذكَر أن الرئيس السوري بشار الأسد أكّد، في كلمة له اليوم الجمعة، تعقيباً على فوزه في الانتخابات، إن الشعب السوري عرّف الثورة وأعاد إليها ألقها بعد أن لوَّث اسمها “مرتزقة كانوا عبيداً للدولار”، وأشار إلى أنّ “طاقة هذا الشعب الجبارة هي التي تمدّ الوطن بالقوة وتؤهّله للفوز والانتصار
