Advisor to the Supreme Leader of the Iranian Revolution Moḥammad Mohber said that his country taking control of an American RQ-170 drone roughly a decade ago formed an important station in the development of its capabilities on the field of drones. He confirmed that Iran has transformed into a pivotal power in this field.
Mohber added that the American submersible Iran has taken over can be transformed to be an opportunity to remodel a new batch developing systems with self-guiding capabilities.
The Revolutionary Guards had announced earlier hunting down this smart submersible of the American army, pointing out that it possesses the newest developed submarine technologies that had been presented to the American navy only in 2025.
This submersible device, “Dive-LD” is produced by the American “Anduril Industries”, and its prototype was handed over in 2025 to the unmanned subsurface systems unit of the American navy.
This device has a length of 5.8 meters and its weight is around 3 tons. It was designed for carrying out long term and independent missions in deep waters, as the “Dive-LD” is capable of working under water for up to 10 days and can reach a depth of 6000 meters according to specifications announced by the designing company.

قال مستشار قائد الثورة في إيران محمد مخبر إن سيطرة بلاده على طائرة “RQ-170” الأميركية المسيّرة قبل نحو عقد شكّل محطة مهمة في تطوير قدراتها بمجال الطائرات المسيّرة، مؤكداً أن إيران تحولت إلى قوة رئيسية في هذا المجال.
وأضاف مخبر أن الغواصة المسيّرة الأميركية التي استولت عليها إيران يمكن أن تتحول إلى فرصة لإحداث قفزة جديدة في تطوير منظومات مجهزة بقدرات التوجيه الذاتي
وكان الحرس قد أعلن في وقتٍ سابق اصطياد هذه الغوّاصة الذكية التابعة للجيش الأميركي، مشيراً إلى أنها تتمتع بأحدث تكنولوجيا متطورة في مجال الغوّاصات، وقد جرى تسليمها لأسطول الجيش الأميركي عام 2025.
وتُعتبر الغوّاصة الآلية “Dive‑LD” منتجاً لشركة “Anduril Industries” الأميركية، حيث تمّ تسليم نموذجها الأول في عام 2025 إلى وحدة الأنظمة تحت السطحية غير المأهولة التابعة للبحرية الأميركية.
ويبلغ طول هذا النظام نحو 5.8 أمتار ووزنه قرابة ثلاثة أطنان، وهو مصمّم لتنفيذ مهام طويلة ومستقلة في المياه العميقة، إذ إنّ “Dive‑LD” قادرة على العمل تحت الماء لمدة تصل إلى 10 أيام، والوصول إلى عمق 6000 متر وفقاً للمواصفات المعلنة من الشركة المصنّعة
