General Commander of the Iranian Army Major General Amīr Ḥātamī confirms that the he set a trap for the American forces in Esfahan and underlined that the Iranian Army continues to be on alert on land, in air and on the sea.

General Commander of the Iranian Army Major General Amīr Ḥātamī confirmed that the Iranian forces set a trap for the American forces in Esfahan Province during the war.
Ḥātamī said that “all the Iranian intelligence personnel were in full readiness to defeat the enemy in the south of Esfahan Province”, adding that the troops of the Islamic Republic “struck on the enemy like a thunder”, with the first fire shooting down a C-130 type plane.
During the war the Iranian Armed Forces succeeded at the beginning of April in destroying a number of enemy planes to the south of Esfahan, while American President Donald Trump claimed that the American army carried out search and rescue operations for the second pilot that who was on board the plane that had been shut down there.
The official spokesman of the Hātem al-Anbiyā’ Central Headquarters said that “an attempt to rescue the pilot of the shut down plane was foiled and two Black Hawk helicopters were destroyed and two C-130 type military transport planes to the south of Esfahan”.
In this context, Tehran believed that the operation raises a series of questions about its true goals, especially in light of the indications of a possible connection to an attempt to seize the enriched Iranian uranium.
In this context Major General Ḥātamī said that “the talks about destroying the Iranian Naval Forces are not true”, pointing out that this force “is resisting with full determination”, and that the enemy is keeping a 300 to 400 kilometers distance away from it.
He also refuted what had been said about the destruction of the Iranian Air Force, pointing out that the Commander of the Pakistani Army has visited Iran on Wednesday and the Iranian side informed that there is no need to escort the plane of the guest.
He explained that Iran was escorting the guest “with an extended number of planes that were were sent to escort the plane”.
Ḥātamī underlined that the United States and the Occupying Entity “will take the take the illusion of subduing the Iranian people to their grave”, confirming that “thousands are ready for sacrifices for the Iranian people and for the land of Iran”.
He pointed out that the enemies of Iran “have assassinated the great carrier of the Islamic Revolution and had the illusion that Iran would fall with his death”, adding that millions of Iranians have raised this flag for more than 40 days.
He ended with saying that “the Iranian people are to be praised that is defending the dignity and the independence of Iran”.

أكد القائد العام للجيش الإيراني اللواء أمير حاتمي، أن القوات الإيرانية نصبت كميناً للقوات الأميركية في محافظة أصفهان خلال الحرب.
وقال حاتمي إن “كافة العناصر الاستخبارية الإيرانية كانت على أهبة الاستعداد لهزيمة العدو في جنوب محافظة أصفهان”، مضيفاً أن مقاتلي الجمهورية الإسلامية “انقضّوا على العدو كالصاعقة”، ومع أول إطلاق نار سقطت طائرة من طراز “سي-130”.
ونجحت القوات المسلحة الإيرانية خلال الحرب مطلع الشهر الحالي، في تدمير عدد من الطائرات المعادية جنوب أصفهان، بينما زعم الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب أن الجيش الأميركي نفذ عمليات بحث وإنقاذ للطيار الثاني الذي كان على متن الطائرة المقاتلة التي سقطت هناك.
وقال المتحدث باسم قاعدة خاتم الأنبياء المركزية إنه جرى “إفشال محاولة إنقاذ طيار الطائرة المُسقطة وتدمير مروحيتي بلاك هوك وطائرتي نقل عسكريتين من طراز سي-130 في جنوب أصفهان”.
وفي السياق، اعتبرت طهران أن العملية تثير جملة من التساؤلات حول أهدافها الحقيقية، ولا سيما في ظل مؤشرات على احتمال ارتباطها بمحاولة الاستيلاء على اليورانيوم الإيراني المخصب
وفي السياق، قال اللواء حاتمي إن “الحديث عن تدمير القوة البحرية الإيرانية غير صحيح”، مشيراً إلى أن هذه القوة “صامدة بكل حزم”، وإن العدو يلتزم بمسافة أمان تراوح بين 300 و400 كيلومتر بعيداً عنها
كما رفض ما يقال عن تدمير القوة الجوية الإيرانية، لافتاً إلى أن قائد الجيش الباكستاني زار إيران أمس، وأن الجانب الإيراني أبلغ باكستان بعدم الحاجة إلى مرافقة طائراتها لضيفها.
وأوضح أن إيران قامت بمرافقة الضيف “بضعف عدد الطائرات التي كانوا ينوون إرسالها للمرافقة”.
وشدد حاتمي على أن الولايات المتحدة وكيان الاحتلال “سيأخذان حلم ركوع الشعب الإيراني معهما إلى القبر”، مؤكداً أن “الآلاف مستعدون للتضحية من أجل الشعب الإيراني وتراب إيران
وأشار إلى أن أعداء إيران “اغتالوا حامل الراية الكبير للثورة الإسلامية وتوهموا أن إيران ستسقط بسقوطه”، مضيفاً أن ملايين الإيرانيين رفعوا هذه الراية لأكثر من 40 يوماً.
