An Iranian official tells Reuters that the visit by the Commander of the Pakistani Army to Iran has contributed to mitigating the differences in certain matters and the hopes has increased that to extend the ceasefire and to hold a second session of negotiations with Washington.

On Thursday a high level Iranian official told Reuters that the visit of the Commander of the Pakistani Army Āṣim Munīr to Iran has contributed to mitigating the differences in certain matters.
The official pointed out that the hopes has risen after this visit to extend the ceasefire and to hold a second round of negotiations with Washington, explaining that that there are still core differences about the nuclear matter.
The official pointed out that until now the fate of the highly richer uranium in Iran, or the time period of the nuclear restrictions hasn’t been determined.
On it behalf the Pakistani Foreign Ministry on Thursday explained that it has no information about the place where the second round of the American-Iranian negotiations would be held, pointing out that time of the next session has also not been settled until now.
The Foreign Ministry pointed out that Lebanon is still part of the current ceasefire, expressing that the peace in Lebanon is necessary for the peace negotiations.
The Foreign Ministry also pointed out that the nuclear question is also among the matters that are to be discussed within the negotiations.
A high level policies and security delegation led by the Commander of the Pakistani Army Āṣim Munīr had arrived on Wednesday to Tehran coming from Islamabad.
According to the Iranian television the delegation brought a message from Washington to Tehran and with the Iranian officials discussed the matter of the next negotiations, especially the matters connected second session that is presumed to take place in the upcoming days in Islamabad.
It should be remembered that the first session of the negotiations between Tehran and Washington was held at the end of last week in Islamabad with the aim of reaching a final agreement ending the war in the region. During that session texts were exchanged between the American and the Iranian delegations, but no agreement was reached because of the American conditions and the exorbitant demands. This is according to what the Iranian officials have confirmed.

قال مسؤول إيراني كبير لوكالة “رويترز”، اليوم الخميس، إن زيارة قائد الجيش الباكستاني عاصم منير إلى إيران أسهمت في تقليص الخلافات في بعض القضايا.
وأشار المسؤول إلى أن الآمال تزايدت بعد هذه الزيارة في تمديد وقف إطلاق النار وعقد جولة ثانية من المحادثات مع واشنطن، موضحاً أنه لا تزال هناك خلافات جوهرية حول المسألة النووية
ولفت المسؤول إلى أنه حتى الآن لم يحسم مصير اليورانيوم عالي التخصيب في إيران ومدة القيود النووية.
من جهتها، أوضحت وزارة الخارجية الباكستانية، اليوم، أنها لا تملك معلومات حتى الآن بشأن مكان انعقاد الجولة الثانية من المحادثات الأميركية- الإيرانية، مشيرة إلى أنه لم يُحدّد موعد الجولة المقبلة حتى الآن
وأشارت الخارجية إلى أنّ لبنان لا يزال جزءاً من وقف إطلاق النار الساري، معتبرة أنّ السلام في لبنان ضروري لمحادثات السلام.
ولفتت الخارجية إلى أنّ المسألة النووية من بين القضايا التي تجري مناقشتها ضمن المحادثات.
وكان قد وصل، أمس الأربعاء، وفد سياسي أمني رفيع المستوى برئاسة قائد الجيش الباكستاني عاصم منير، إلى طهران قادماً من إسلام آباد.
وبحسب مصادر التلفزيون الإيراني، حمل الوفد رسالة من واشنطن إلى طهران، وبحث مع المسؤولين الإيرانيين ملف المفاوضات المقبلة، ولا سيما القضايا المرتبطة بالجولة الثانية التي يُتوقّع عقدها خلال الأيام المقبلة في إسلام آباد
يُذكر أنّ الجولة الأولى من المحادثات بين طهران وواشنطن عُقدت نهاية الأسبوع الماضي في إسلام آباد، بهدف التوصّل إلى اتفاق نهائي لإنهاء الحرب في المنطقة، وجرى خلالها تبادل نصوص بين الوفدين الأميركي والإيراني، إلا أنه لم يتمّ التوصّل إلى اتفاق، بسبب الشروط الأميركية والمطالب المبالغ فيها، وفق ما يؤكد المسؤولون الإيرانيون
