Funerary processions for Brigadier General Ḥeğāzī started in Esfahan. The Revolutionary Guards confirm the contributions of the deceased on the fields of resistance abroad of Iran, especially in Lebanon and Palestine.
During the funerary for Jerusalem Forces Deputy Commander, late Brigadier General Muḥammad Ḥeğāzī commander of the Jerusalem Forces Brigadier General Esmā‘īl Qaānī said that the front of the resistance “takes an important step every day combating America and Israel”. Adding that Ḥeğāzī played “an important role in the fields of resistance abroad the country”.
As for the General Commander of the Irani Revolutionary Guards, Major General Ḥosseyn Salāmī stated that the later General “did not take off the robes of resistance at all. He walked the path of righteous predecessors and the greatest martyrs”.
Major General Salāmī confirmed that Ḥeğāzī “was an excellent example of the Islamic character in piousness and modesty”. As he was “a living example of calmness, tranquility and rightful intentions”.
The commander of the Revolutionary Guards pointed out that the activities of Ḥeğāzī did not stop at the borders of Iran, but reached Lebanon. There, with the help of as-Sayyid Ḥasan Naṣr Allah and the sons of the Islamic community made the Ḥizb Allah a capable force. There he worked on the plan by Ḥizb Allah to strike a definite blow on Zionism”.
He continued: “Brigadier General Ḥeğāzī with his brethren in Ḥizb Allah created the conditions too for the defeat on the crumbling Zionist entity. The Zionists put him on their list of assassinations and were looking for the chance to attack this great commander”.
Iranian Supreme Leader as-Sayyid ‘Alī Hāmene‘ī expressed his condolences for the death of Brigadier General Ḥeğāzī, saying: “He lived a life full of combats, obvious poverty, a heart full of the true faith and full of motivation and greatness. Full of force in the service of Islam and the revolution. This is the essence of charisma for this warrior on the path of God. He served in great and impactful institutions in the Islamic Revolutionary Guards. He was great and successful on all of them”.
Brigadier General Muḥammad Ḥeğāzī passed away in a heart attack last Sunday after years of activities in the Revolutionary Guards, which’s last stop was his promotion to be the Deputy Commander of the Jerusalem Forces in January 2020.
Brigadier General Muḥammad Reẓā Falāḥzāde was promoted to succeed Brigadier General Ḥeğāzī after he was in charged to be the Coordinations Assistant Prince the Commander of the Jerusalem Forces in the Revolutionary Guards.
Leaders of the resistance in Lebanon and Palestine expressed their condolences for the death of Ḥeğāzī. The President of the “Ḥamās” Movement Ismā‘īl Haniyya telephoned Qaānī expressing his regrets, as his death means “a loss for the resistance”.
Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine Ziyād al-Nahhāla viewed that Brigadier General Ḥeğāzī “was in the front lines to defend Palestine and Lebanon”. He spent his life “in the service of Islam and the Muslims”.

مراسم تشييع العميد محمد حجازي تنطلق في أصفهان، وحرس الثورة يؤكد على إسهامات الراحل في ساحات المقاومة خارج إيران، خاصةً في لبنان وفلسطين
قال قائد قوة القدس العميد إسماعيل قاآني، خلال مراسم تشييع نائب قائد قوة القدس العميد محمد حجازي، إن جبهة المقاومة “تخطو كل يوم خطوة مهمة في مواجهة أميركا وإسرائيل”، مضيفاً أن حجازي لعب “دوراً هاماً في ساحات المقاومة خارج البلاد
أما القائد العام لحرس الثورة الإيراني اللواء حسين سلامي فأكد أن العميد الراحل “لم يخلع ثوب الجهاد قط، وسار على خطى الأولياء الصالحين والشهداء العظماء
وأكد اللواء سلامي أن حجازي “كان مثالاً ممتازاً للشخصية الإسلامية في الوقار والتواضع”، كما كان “مثالاً حياً للطمأنينة والسكينة وصدق النية
وأشار قائد حرس الثورة إلى أن نشاط حجازي لم يتوقف عند حدود إيران، فقد ذهب إلى لبنان “وهناك بمساعدة السيد حسن نصر الله وأبناء الأمة الإسلامية جعل حزب الله مقتدراً، وهناك أكمل خطة حزب الله لإلحاق الهزيمة الحاسمة بالصهاينة
وتابع: “وفر العميد حجازي مع إخوانه في حزب الله الظروف لهزيمة الكيان الصهيوني المهترئ، وكان الصهاينة قد وضعوه على قائمة الاغتيالات وكانوا يبحثون عن فرصة لمهاجمة هذا القائد العظيم
وكان المرشد الإيراني السيد علي خامنئي أعرب عن تعازيه بوفاة العميد حجازي، قائلاً إنه “عاش حياة كلها جهاد، وفكر نير، وقلب مفعم بالإيمان الحقيقي ومليء بالدوافع والعزيمة الراسخة، وقوة كاملة في خدمة الإسلام والثورة، هذه خلاصة لشخصية هذا المجاهد في سبيل الله. لقد خدم في مسؤوليات كبيرة ومؤثرة في حرس الثورة الإسلامية وكان شامخاً وناجحاً فيها جميعاً
وتوفي العميد محمد حجازي إثر نوبة قلبية، يوم الأحد الماضي، بعد سنوات من النشاط داخل حرس الثورة والتي انتهت بتعيينه نائباً لقائد قوة القدس، في كانون الثاني/يناير 2020
وجرى تعيين العميد محمد رضا فلاح زاده خلفاً للعميد حجازي، بعد أن كان موكلاً بمهام المساعد التنسيقي لقائد قوة القدس بالحرس الثوري
وعزت قيادات المقاومة في لبنان وفسلطين بوفاة حجازي، حيث اتصل رئيس حركة “حماس” إسماعيل هنية بقاآني، معرباً عن أسفه لرحيل من شكّل “فقدانه خسارة للمقاومة
ورأى الأمين العام لحركة الجهاد الإسلامي في فلسطين زياد النخالة أن العميد حجاي “كان في الخطوط الأمامية للدفاع عن فلسطين ولبنان”، وقد أفنى عمره “في خدمة الإسلام والمسلمين
