The Iranian Fars News Agency reports the activation of the air defenses in the country after drones have been spotted above Tehran and numerous regions. Some of these were Israeli made Orbiters.

On Thursday night the Iranian media reported that explosions were heard in numerous regions of the country in result of activating the air defense systems.
The Fars News Agency revealed that “the recent sounds of the air defense systems in Tehran and a number of other cities in Iran came in response to spotting drones”.
The news agency also confirmed that among the drones that had been monitored in a number of areas of the country there were Orbiter type drones, which are of a series of small suicide, or reconnaissance drones produced by the Israeli Aeronautics Company.
During the American-Israeli aggression against the country the air defenses of both the Islamic Revolutionary Guards and the Iranian Army played a outstanding role, as they shut down dozens of drones of various types, some of them with a price tag of $250 million.

وكالة “فارس” الإيرانية تفيد بتفعيل الدفاعات الجوية في البلاد بعد رصد طائرات مسيّرة فوق طهران وعدة مناطق، بعضها من طراز “أوريبتور” إسرائيلي الصنع

أفادت وسائل إعلام إيرانية، مساء الخميس، بسماع دوي انفجارات في عدة مناطق في البلاد، ناجمة عن تفعيل أنظمة الدفاع الجوي
وكشفت وكالة “فارس” أنّ “الأصوات الأخيرة لأنظمة الدفاع الجوي في طهران وعدة مدن أخرى في إيران جاءت رداً على رصد طائرات مسيّرة”.
كما أوضحت الوكالة أنّ من بين المسيّرات التي تمّ رصدها في عدة نقاط من البلاد، طائرات من طراز “أوريبتور”، وهي سلسلة من الطائرات المسيّرة (UAV) الانتحارية أو الاستطلاعية الصغيرة، التي تنتجها شركة “أيرونوتيكس” (Aeronautics) الإسرائيلية.
وأدّت الدفاعات الجوية التابعة لكل من حرس الثورة الإسلامية والجيش الإيراني دوراً بارزاً خلال العدوان الأميركي الإسرائيلي على البلاد، حيث تصدت لعشرات المسيرات من طرازات مختلفة، يتخطى ثمن بعضها الـ 250 مليون دولار أميركي
