Iranian Foreign Minister ‘Abbās ‘Arāqčī as head of a delegation arrives in Islamabad to hold negotiations with the high officials about the regional developments and the efforts to achieve a lasting ceasefire.

An Iranian delegation led by Foreign Minister ‘Abbās ‘Arāqčī arrived on Friday night to the Pakistani capital Islamabad to hold negotiations with a number of officials.
Upon his arrival ‘Arāqčī was welcomed by Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Isḥāq Dār and Chief of Staff of the Army General ‘Āṣim Munīr, aside from a number of high ranking officials.
It is scheduled that the Iranian Foreign Minister would hold meetings with the Pakistani high level leadership to discuss the recent regional developments and the efforts taken to achieve regional peace and stability.
This visit comes in the framework of a wider regional journey taken by ‘Arāqčī that includes the Sultanate of Oman, Pakistan and Russia with the aim of holding bilateral negotiations and to discuss the current developments in the region, especially the most recent results of the American-Israeli aggression against Iran.

وصل وفد إيراني برئاسة وزير الخارجية عباس عراقتشي، مساء الجمعة، إلى العاصمة الباكستانية إسلام آباد لإجراء مباحثات مع عدد من المسؤولين
وكان في استقبال عراقتشي لدى وصوله نائب رئيس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية الباكستاني محمد إسحاق دار، ورئيس أركان الجيش ورئيس أركان الدفاع، المشير عاصم منير، إلى جانب عدد من كبار المسؤولين.
ومن المقرّر أن يعقد وزير الخارجية الإيراني اجتماعات مع القيادة الباكستانية العليا لمناقشة آخر التطوّرات الإقليمية والجهود المبذولة لتحقيق السلام والاستقرار الإقليميين.
وتأتي هذه الزيارة في إطار الجولة الإقليمية الأوسع التي يقوم بها عراقتشي، والتي تشمل سلطنة عُمان وباكستان وروسيا، بهدف إجراء مشاورات ثنائية وبحث التطوّرات الجارية في المنطقة، ولا سيما مستجدّات العدوان الأميركي–الإسرائيلي
