Turkish President Recept Tayyip Erdoğan arrives in the Emirates and says that “his visit will pave the ways for cooperation with the Emirates in order to develop the defense industry”.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan arrived in the Emirates on Monday and Abū Zabī Crown Prince Muḥammad ibn Zāyid Āl Nahyān was in the forefront to greet the Turkish President and the delegation accompanying him upon their arrival at Abū Zabī’s main airport.
Erdoğan had announced previously the same day that his visit will pave the way for cooperation with the Emirates in order to develop the defense industry, but also the cooperation on other fields, like education, healthcare, or culture.

On 16 December last year Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu following official meetings held in the Emirates announced that the work is ongoing planning a visit to be taken by the President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the Emirates on 14-15 February the following year.
It should be pointed out that Abū Zabī Crown Prince Muḥammad ibn Zāyid Āl Nahyān visited Turkey on 24 November last year, when he held negotiations with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan within the context that the two countries are aiming to improve the relations between themselves.

الرئيس التركي رجب طيب إردوغان يصل إلى الإمارات، ويقول إن “زيارته ستتطرق إلى التعاون مع الإمارات لتطوير الصناعات الدفاعية
وصل الرئيس التركي رجب طيب إردوغان إلى الإمارات، اليوم الإثنين، وكان ولي عهد أبوظبي محمد بن زايد آل نهيان، في مقدمة مستقبلي الرئيس التركي والوفد المرافق لدى وصولهم إلى مطار الرئاسة في أبوظبي.
وأعلن إردوغان في وقت سابق اليوم، أن زيارته ستتطرق إلى التعاون مع الإمارات لتطوير الصناعات الدفاعية، وكذلك التعاون في مجالات أخرى كالتعليم والصحة والثقافة
وفي 16 كانون الأول/ديسمبر الماضي، أعلن وزير الخارجية التركي مولود جاويش أوغلو ، عقب لقاءات رسمية أجراها في الإمارات، أنّ العمل جارٍ على تخطيط الزيارة المرتقبة للرئيس رجب طيب إردوغان إلى الإمارات في الـ 14-15 من شباط/فبراير المقبل.
يُشار إلى أنّ ولي عهد أبو ظبي، محمد بن زايد آل نهيان، زار تركيا في 24 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر الماضي، حيث أجرى محادثات مع الرئيس التركي رجب طيب إردوغان، في إطار سعي البلدين إلى تحسين العلاقات بينهما
