The Iranian Foreign Ministry confirms that the negotiations in New York happened with the aim to inform Washington about the clear and precise Iranian conditions.

Official spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmā‘īl Baqā’ī confirmed that the engagement and contact that took place with the American side in New York took place through Qatari mediation.
Baqā’ī in his statements to the Mehr News Agency explained that the engagement took place with the to inform Washington about the clear and precise Iranian conditions.
About the content of the conditions the American side was informed about the official spokesman of the Foreign Ministry outlined that those included the need to end the war on all fronts and to fully halt all American aggressive measures.
Baqā’ī added that the conditions include ending the imposed naval blockade and economic war, in addition to releasing the frozen Iranian financial assets, and the other essential requests of Tehran.
‘Arāqčī informs Witkoff about the conditions to reopen the Strait of Hormuz
On Tuesday a special source of the Iranian television stated that a meeting was held between Foreign Minister ‘Abbās ‘Arāqčī and American President’s special envoy Steve Witkoff on the margins of the U.N. General Assembly, after the American envoy insisted. The source mentioned that the reason behind accepting the request of Witkoff to hold a meeting was to “inform the conditions of Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz”.
He pointed out that the American envoy was informed about the definite matters of Iran during the meeting, reporting: “The conditions of Iran fore reopening the Strait of Hormuz are the immediate lifting the naval blockade, immediately restoring all frozen Iranian assets and to end the war on all fronts of the resistance”.
A high level Iranian security policy source had told al-Mayadeen that Trump aims to once again go back to negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, contrary to his fiery claims and speeches.

أكّد المتحدّث باسم وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية، إسماعيل بقائي، أنّ التعامل والتواصل الذي جرى مع الجانب الأميركي في نيويورك تمّ عبر وسيط قطري.
وأوضح بقائي، في تصريحات أوردتها وكالة “مهر” للأنباء، أنّ هذا التعامل جاء بهدف إبلاغ واشنطن بالشروط الإيرانية الواضحة والمحدّدة.
وبشأن مضامين الشروط التي أُبلغت للجانب الأميركي، بيّن المتحدّث باسم الخارجية الإيرانية أنها تتضمّن ضرورة إنهاء الحرب على جميع الجبهات، ووقف الإجراءات العدوانية الأميركية بالكامل
وأضاف بقائي أنّ الشروط تشمل أيضاً إنهاء الحصار البحري والحرب الاقتصادية المفروضة، إضافة إلى الإفراج عن الأصول المالية الإيرانية المحتجزة، وغيرها من المطالب الأساسية لطهران.
عراقتشي يبلغ ويتكوف شروط إعادة فتح مضيق هرمز
وأمس الثلاثاء، قال مصدر خاصّ للتلفزيون الإيراني، إنّ اجتماعاً عُقِد بين وزير الخارجية عباس عراقتشي، والمبعوث الخاص للرئيس الأميركي، ستيف ويتكوف، على هامش اجتماعات الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، وذلك بعد إصرار المندوب الأميركي. وذكر المصدر أنّ السبب وراء قبول طلب ويتكوف لعقد اللقاء كان “إبلاغ شروط إيران لإعادة فتح مضيق هرمز”.
وأشار إلى أنّ إبلاغ المندوب الأميركي بمواضيع إيران الحاسمة قد تمّ خلال اللقاء، مردفاً: “شروط إيران لإعادة فتح هرمز هي رفع الحصار البحري فوراً والسداد الفوري لجميع الأموال الإيرانية المجمّدة، وإنهاء الحرب في جبهات المقاومة كلها”.
وكان مصدر إيراني أمني سياسي رفيع قد قال للميادين، إنّ الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، يسعى إلى العودة من جديد للمفاوضات مع الجمهورية الإسلامية في إيران، على عكس الادّعاءات وخطابات التهويل
