Today, this Wednesday morning aš-Šādlī al-Qulaybī (al-Qlībī) has passed away in his home at the outskirts of Carthage at the age of 94, according to what Radio Mosaic reported.
Aš-Šādlī al-Qulaybī (born 6 September 1925) was a Tunisian politician, who worked as Secretary-General of the Arab League between 1979 and 1990 when its headquarters was in Tunis following the Camp David Accords. He resigned during the American mobilization against Iraq in 1990-1991, just before the second Gulf War to protest the foreign war against Iraq. He had also worked in a number of ministerial positions during the reign of the late leader al-Ḥabīb Bū Raqība (Burqiba).

الشاذلي القليبي (ولد في 6 سبتمبر، 1925) سياسي تونسي شغل منصب أمين جامعة الدول العربية العام بين 1979 و1990، عندما كان مقرها تونس بعد اتفاقية كامب ديفيد، استقال خلال الحشد الأمريكي على العراق 1990 – 1991 قبيل حرب الخليج الثانية لاعتراضه على الحرب الأجنبية للعراق. وقد تقلّد العديد من المناصب الوزارية خلال فترة حكم الزعيم الراحل الحبيب بورقيبة
