وقال الناطق باسم الجيش الجنرال عزم برماندوا أغونا في إعلان وقعه إنّ “المجلس العسكري الانتقالي” برئاسة محمد إدريس ديبي (37 عاماً) يضمن “الاستقلال الوطني وسلامة الأراضي والوحدة الوطنية واحترام المعاهدات والاتفاقات الدولية ويضمن مرحلة انتقالية مدتها 18 شهراً” تجري بعدها “انتخابات حرة وديمقراطية وشفافة
كما أشار إلى فرض حظر تجول وإغلاق الحدود البرية والجوية للبلاد
وكان الرئيس التشادي إدريس ديبي إيتنو الحاكم منذ 30 عاماً قُتل، اليوم الثلاثاء، متأثراً بجروح أصيب بها على خط الجبهة في معارك ضد المتمردين في شمال البلاد، بحسب ما أعلن المتحدث باسم الجيش للتلفزيون الرسمي
