On Thursday the correspondent of al-Mayadeen reported that Yemeni Armed Forces continue to advance along the western coastline towards the Bāb al-Mandib, pointing out the beginning of combing operations on the islands along the western coastline.
Earlier on Thursday the AFP cited a military official of the Aden government and eyewitnesses saying that the Yemeni Armed Forces of Sana’a have taken control over the Yemeni city of al-Muhā along the Red Sea.
The official pointed out that they are advancing towards the strategic regions along the Bāb al-Mandib.
The eyewitnesses reported to the news agency that the Yemeni Armed Forces have entered the city celebrating, chanting the slogans “Death to America, Death to Israel”.
The correspondent of al-Mayadeen in Yemen had reported in Thursday that the Yemeni Armed Forces have managed to take control over important military positions and regions in the coastal district of al-Muhā to the west of Ta‘izz Province.
He confirmed that the Armed Forces took control over the Hālid military base and the Fire Mountain military base, which is the headquarters of the military forces command in the western coastline.
Also, the Yemeni Armed forces took control over al-Hawha and Ḥīs in the southern part of the coastal al-Ḥudayda Province align the Red Sea and al-Wāza‘iyya in Ta‘izz.
The sources of al-Mayadeen reported that the area of Ḥīs and al-Hawha exceeds 1050 square kilometers.
This comes at a time when the Yemeni Armed Forces are conducting clashes with the Saudi supported forces in a number of provinces, after it launched preventive strikes against their mobilizations. Saudi Arabia is carrying out airstrikes targeting a number of provinces to support and to strengthen the Saudi military mobilizations on the ground.

أفاد مراسل الميادين، اليوم الخميس، أن القوات المسلحة اليمنية تواصل التقدم في الساحل الغربي نحو باب المندب، مشيراً إلى بدء عملية تمشيط الجزر مقابل الساحل الغربي.
وفي وقت سابق اليوم، نقلت وكالة “أ ف ب” عن مسؤول عسكري في حكومة عدن وشهود قوله إن القوات المسلحة اليمنية التابعة لصنعاء سيطرت على مدينة المخا اليمنية على البحر الأحمر.
وأشار المسؤول إلى أنهم يتقدّمون نحو مناطق محاذية لمضيق باب المندب الاستراتيجي.
هذا وأفاد شهود عيان للوكالة بأن القوات المسلحة اليمينة دخلت المدينة محتفلة، وهي تردد شعارات “الموت لأميركا الموت لإسرائيل
وكان مراسل الميادين في اليمن قد أفاد، اليوم الخميس، بأن القوات المسلحة اليمنية تمكنت من السيطرة على مناطق ومواقع عسكرية هامة في مديرية المخا الساحلية غرب محافظة تعز.
وأكد أن القوات المسلحة سيطرت على قاعدة معسكر خالد ومعسكر جبل النار، وهو مقر قيادة القوات العسكرية في الساحل الغربي.
كذلك، سيطرت القوات المسلحة اليمنية على الخوخة وحيس جنوبي محافظة الحُدَيْدَة الساحلية على البحر الأحمر، والوازعية في تعز.
وأفادت مصادر الميادين بأن مساحة مديريتي حَيْس والخَوْخَة تزيد على 1050 كيلومتراً مربعاً.
يأتي ذلك في وقت تخوض القوات المسلحة اليمنية اشتباكات مع القوات المدعومة من السعودية في العديد من المحافظات، بعدما كانت قد شنّت ضربات استباقية ضد تحشيداتها، فيما تنفذ السعودية غارات جوية تستهدف عدداً من المحافظات، منها مأرب والجوف وتعز والحديدة، لدعم وتعزيز التحشيدات العسكرية السعودية على الأرض
