Hulusi Akar Turkish Defense Minister claims that America might send “Patriot” missile systems to Turkey to be used in Idlib.

The “Reuters” reported the words of Hulusi Akar Turkish Defense Minister saying that there are ongoing talks between Ankara and Washington to buy “Patriot” systems, and that his country will not accept suggestions to decrease the Turkish observation posts in Idlib.
In televised statements the Turkish Defense Minister confirmed that his country does not seek clashes with the Russian forces in Idlib, and the sole target of the operations that the Turkish army conducted in the region today, Thursday were the forces of the Syrian government.
Akar added that there are good negotiations between the the Russian and Turkish military personnel on the ground in Idlib.
The minister stated that America might send “Patriot” defense systems to Turkey to be used in Idlib. The minister pointed out that there are ongoing talks between Ankara and Washington to buy “Patriot” systems. With this Akar confirmed that Ankara will “measure the Russian S-400 systems, and there has to be doubts about that”, pointing to the agreement that previously caused anger by Washington leading NATO.

نقلت “رويترز” عن وزير الدفاع التركي، خلوصي أكار، قوله أن المحادثات بين أنقرة وواشنطن لشراء منظومة “باتريوت” مستمرة وإن بلاده لن تقبل اقتراحات بشأن نقل نقاط المراقبة التركية بإدلب
وفي تصريحات متلفزة، أكد الوزير التركي أن بلاده لا تنوي الاشتباك مع القوات الروسية في إدلب وأن الهدف الوحيد للعملية التي شنها الجيش التركي في المنطقة، اليوم الخميس، هو قوات الحكومة السورية
وأضاف أكار أن هناك حوارا جيدا بين عسكريين روس وأتراك على الأرض في إدلب
وصرح الوزير أن اميركا قد ترسل منظومة “باتريوت” الدفاعية لتركيا لاستخدامها في إدلب. وأشار الوزير إلى أن المحادثات بين أنقرة وواشنطن لشراء منظومة “باتريوت” مستمرة. مع ذلك فقد أكد أكار أن أنقرة ستقوم “بتفعيل منظومة إس-400 الروسية ولا ينبغي الشك في ذلك”، في إشارة إلى الصفقة التي أثارت غضب واشنطن قادة حلف الناتو سابقا
