The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Sunday targeting the mobilizations of the Saudi allied factions in the Yemeni al-Mahā with a large number of ballistic missiles and drones, confirming that the Yemeni people have entered the publicly announced equation “blockade for blockade and escalation for escalation, and would target any mobilization targeting the Yemeni people, of the free provinces”.
Official spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces Brigadier General Yaḥyā Sarī‘ through his own Telegram account explained that the targeting came: “in response to the Saudi enemy continues to mobilize its levies, strengthening them with weapons and equipment, but also to its constant aggressions along the Western coastline and Ta‘izz province to deter the great Yemeni people from and its lawful move to confront the sinful blockade and the treacherous aggression that has been going on for 12 years”.
Sarī‘ added: By the grace of God Almighty the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a large scale and special operation targeting the mobilizations of the Saudi enemy and its weapons depots in the region of al-Mahā. By the grace of God the strike was a direct hit and led to the large scale destruction of these equipment, weapons and supplies, while dozens, including Saudis were injured. This was done by a large number of ballistic missiles and drones”.
He continued: “We will not allow the Saudi enemy to achieve its goals that are practically the targeted strikes against our people and pushing its sons into the hells of death on service of conspiring agendas of the enemies of the nation. So the Armed Forces will continue, by the help of God and relying upon Him, monitoring and observing all Saudi movements and mobilizations and precisely and directly striking them”.
In July the Yemeni Armed Forces announced that the 2022 ceasefire with Saudi Arabia has collapsed and imposed a naval blockade against Riyadh after a massive popular legitimacy expressed by the Yemenis in the Friday marches of millions in Sana’a and a number of other provinces.
These developments came after Saudi Arabia had targeted Sana’a International Airport in an attempt to prevent the landing of an Iranian plane that was carrying a Yemeni delegation that had participated in the mourning ceremonies of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution as-Sayyid ‘Alī Hāmeneī, but also sick, injured and other Yemenis stuck abroad. The plane eventually landed at the airport of al-Ḥudayda in result of the aggression. That invoked a response by the Yemeni Armed Forces to target the airport of Abhā’ in Saudi Arabia.
Following this the Yemeni Forces targeted a number of oil carriers that have violated the maritime movement restriction decree, while forcing others to change their coarse. They also targeted oil installations in Saudi Arabia in response to the attacks against Yemen and its sovereignty.
On the other hand Sana’a conducted heavy clashes with the forces that belong to Saudi Arabia in Yemen, which has led to the loss of dozens of them.

أعلنت القوات المسلحة اليمنية، الأحد، استهداف تحشدات الفصائل المتحالفة مع السعودية في المخا باليمن، بعدد كبير من الصواريخ البالستية والطائرات المسيّرة، مؤكدةً أن الشعب اليمني ماض في المعادلة المُعلنة “الحصار بالحصار والتصعيد بالتصعيد، واستهداف أي تحشيدات تستهدف الشعب اليمني والمحافظات الحرة”.
وأوضح المتحدث باسم القوات المسلحة اليمنية العميد يحيى سريع، عبر قناته على موقع “تلغرام” أن الاستهداف يأتي “رداً على استمرار العدو السعودي في التحشيد لأدواته وتعزيزها بالأسلحة والمعدات واعتداءاته المستمرة في الساحل الغربي ومحافظة تعز وذلك لثني شعبنا العزيز عن تحركه المشروع لمواجهة الحصار الظالم والعدوان الغاشم المستمر عليه منذ 12 عاماً”.
وأضاف سريع: “نفذت القوات المسلحة بعون الله تعالى عملية عسكرية واسعة ونوعية استهدفت تحشيدات العدو السعودي ومخازن أسلحته في منطقة المخا، وقد كانت الإصابة دقيقة بفضل الله وأدت إلى تدمير واسع في تلك المعدات والأسلحة ومصرع وإصابة العشرات بينهم سعوديون وذلك بعدد كبير من الصواريخ الباليستية والطائرات المسيرة
وتابع: “لن نسمح للعدو السعودي بتحقيق أهدافه المتمثلة في استهداف شعبنا والزجّ بأبنائه إلى محارق الموت خدمة لأجندته التآمرية لصالح أعداء الأمة، وستستمر القوات المسلحة بعون الله تعالى وبالتوكل عليه في رصد وتتبع كافة التحركات والتحشيدات السعودية واستهدافها بشكل دقيق ومباشر”.
وفي تموز/يوليو الماضي، أعلنت القوات المسلحة اليمنية سقوط هدنة 2022 مع السعودية، وفرض حصار بحري ضد الرياض، بعد تفويض شعبي كبير عبّر عنه اليمنيون في مسيرات الجمعة المليونية في صنعاء وعدد من المحافظات.
وجاءت هذه التطوّرات بعدما استهدفت السعودية مطار صنعاء الدولي، في محاولة لمنع هبوط الطائرة الإيرانية التي كانت تحمل الوفد اليمني الذي شارك في تشييع قائد الثورة الشهيد السيد علي خامنئي، ومرضى وجرحى يمنيين وعالقين في الخارج، والتي عادت للهبوط في مطار الحديدة نتيجة العدوان، وهو ما استدعى رداً من قبل القوات المسلحة اليمنية باستهداف مطار “أبها” في السعودية.
في إثر ذلك، استهدفت القوات اليمنية ناقلات نفط عديدة خالفت قرار حظر الملاحة، وأجبرت أخرى على تغيير مسارها، فضلاً عن استهداف منشآت نفطية في السعودية رداً على الاعتداءات على اليمن وسيادته.
