The Syrian Human Rights Observer demanded immediate action and criminal accountability after a young Syrian man was murdered under torture in a center of the general security.
The young man Lu’ay Ṭayyāra (age 23) was found killed under torture in a center of the general security only 24 hours after he was arrested in the city of Homs.
Local sources told the Syrian Human Rights Observer on Saturday that a security force raided his home and detained him only to suffer harsh suffering inside the detention center.
The medical report showed the the death of the young man was caused by beatings with sharp objects to his head.
The authorities in charge announced opening an investigation about the incident and promised criminal accountability.
The Syrian Human Rights Observer described the incident as “crime added to the list of increasing violations”, confirming the documentation of murdering 9 other detainees inside the prisons of the military operations administration, all of them from Homs Province. That came after their were detained within security operations, or at the checkpoints while the fears of cases of torture within the detention centers are growing.
In a statement the “Social Peace Society” in Homs about the death of the young man condemned the event and demanded just reprisals and letting the courts operate to secure the rights of every individual.
Earlier on Friday that local sources in Ḥamā Province in the middle of Syria reported that a masked armed group entered the town of Azra in rural Ḥamā and took away a number of locals, only to kill 15 people of them close to the Orontes River.

ولقي الشاب لؤي طيارة (23 عاماً) حتفه تحت التعذيب في. مركز تابع للأمن العام، بعد 24 ساعة فقط من توقيفه في مدينة حمص.
وأفادت مصادر محلية. للمرصد السوري لحقوق الإنسان، اليوم السبت، أنّ قوة أمنية داهمت منزله واعتقلته ليتعرض لمعاملة. قاسية داخل مركز الاحتجاز.
وأظهر التقرير الطبي أنّ وفاة الشاب نجمت عن. ضربات بأداة حادة على الرأس
وأعلنت الجهات المعنية فتح تحقيق في الحادثة وتوعّدت بمحاسبة الجناة.
ووصف المرصد السوري لحقوق الإنسان الحادثة بأنّها “جريمة تُضاف إلى سجل. الانتهاكات المتزايدة”، مؤكداً توثيق مقتل 9 معتقلين آخرين داخل سجون إدارة العمليات العسكرية، جميعهم من محافظة حمص، وذلك بعد احتجازهم. خلال العمليات الأمنية وعلى الحواجز، في تصاعد مقلق لحالات التعذيب داخل مراكز الاحتجاز.
وفي بيان من “مجموعة السلم الأهلي” في حمص حول وفاة الشاب، ندّد بالحادثة وطالب بالقصاص. العادل وتفعيل القضاء لضمان حقوق جميع الأفراد
وسبق أن أفادت أمس الجمعة، مصادر أهلية في محافظة حماة، وسط سوريا، بأنّ مجموعة مسلّحة ملثّمة دخلت. قرية أرزة في ريف حماة واقتادت عدداً من الأهالي، وقامت بتصفية 15 شخصاً منهم قرب نهر العاصي
