After the confirmation of Egyptian President that “the international law enables any direct Egyptian military intervention in Libya” the Libyan House of Representatives demands military intervention from Egypt to defend the Libyan and the Egyptian national security.
The Libyan House of Representatives lead by Counselor ‘Aqīla Ṣāliḥ demanded Egypt a “military intervention to defend the Libyan and the Egyptian national security, in case it saw the danger eminently threatening the security of the two countries”.
This council in its statement made it clear that the ask for help by Egypt “comes in the light want Libya suffers by ongoing Turkish aggression against the sovereignty”.
The council believed that the Libyans by confront this onslaught “secure the sovereignty of the Libyan national decision making and safeguard the wealth of the nation from the colonial desires”.
The Libyan House of Representatives welcomed what Egyptian President ‘Abd al-Fattāḥ as-Sīsī said in the presence of representatives of the Libyan tribes, calling for “multiplying the effort between the two brotherly Egypt and Libya, which includes the overpowering of the raiding occupier, safeguarding our joint national security and granting safety and stability in our countries and region”.
The council also stressed that “securing of the just division of the wealth of our people and the Libyan oil revenues, and not spending the Libyan wealth on illegal armed militias is a legal demand for every member of the people”.
Few days ago the Egyptian armed forces performed a land and sea drill along the Libyan borders giving it the name “determination 2020” only a day after the Turkish naval forces performed a sea drill and called it “huge” along the Libyan shores.
It should be remembered that Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çaguşoğlu confirmed yesterday, on Monday that there will be a military operation in case the forces of Field General Halīfa Ḥaftar don’t withdraw from the coastal city of Sirt.
Çaguşoğlu, whose government supports the al-Wifāq government stressed that “Sirt has to be handed over and a ceasefire in Libya will not serve us”.
In a joint context Tunisian Foreign Minister Nūr ad-Dīn ar-Rayy said that “Tunisia and Algeria have no any agenda in Libya”.
Ar-Rayy made it clear during a press conference with his Algerian colleague Ṣabrī Bū Qādūm that “Tunisia and Algeria only want to reach Libyan-Libyan solution to stop the foreign interventions”.
On his own side French President Emmanuel Macron viewed yesterday, Monday that “there is no military solution to the Libyan crisis” calling to conduct immediately negations and start a political process.
The forces of Field General Halīfa Ḥaftar has withdrawn from Tripoli after clashes holding on for more than a year during which he tried to take the capital under his control. Thus the al-Wifāq government took over the whole Western Libya and forced Ḥaftar to retreat to Sirt, which is 450 kilometers to the east from Tripoli.

بعد تأكيد الرئيس المصري على أنّ “الشرعيّة الدوليّة تتوافر لأيّ تدخل مصري مباشر في ليبيا”، مجلس النواب الليبي يطالب مصر بالتدخل العسكريّ لحماية الأمن القومي الليبي والمصري
طالب مجلس النواب الليبي برئاسة المستشار عقيلة صالح، مصر بـ”التدخّل العسكريّ لحماية الأمن القومي الليبي والمصري، إذا رأت أنّ خطراً وشيكاً يُهدّد أمن البلدين”
وأوضح المجلس في بيان له أن طلب مساعدة مصر “يأتي في ظلّ ما تتعرّض له ليبيا من انتهاك تركيّ سافر للسيادة”
المجلس اعتبر أنّ تصدّي الليبيين للغزاة “يضمن استقلاليّة القرار الوطني الليبي، ويحفظ ثروات الشعب من أطماع المستعمرين”
مجلس النواب الليبي، رحّب بما قاله الرئيس المصري عبد الفتاح السيسي بحضور ممثلين عن القبائل الليبية، داعياً إلى “تضافر الجهود بين الشقيقتين ليبيا ومصر بما يضمن دحر الُمحتل الغازي ويحفظ أمننا القومي المشترك ويُحقق الأمن والاستقرار في بلادنا والمنطقة”
كما شدد المجلس على أن “ضمان التوزيع العادل لثروات شعبنا وعائدات النفط الليبي وضمان عدم العبث بثروات الليبيين لصالح المليشيات المسلحة الخارجة عن القانون، مطلب شرعيّ لكافة أبناء الشعب
ونفذّت القوات المسلّحة المصرية، منذ أيام، مناورة بريّة وبحريّة على الحدود الليبيّة أطلقت عليها اسم “حسم 2020″، بعد يوم واحد فقط من إعلان القوات البحريّة التركيّة إجراءها مناورات بحريّة وصفتها بـ”الضخمة” قبالة السواحل الليبيّة
يذكر أنّ وزير الخارجية التركي مولود جاويش أوغلو، أكد أمس الاثنين، أنّه سيتمّ تنفيذ عمليّة عسكريّة في حال عدم انسحاب قوات المشير خليفة حفتر من مدينة سرت الساحليّة
أوغلو الذي تدعم حكومته حكومة الوفاق، شدد على أنّ “يجب تسليم سرت ووقف إطلاق النار في ليبيا لن يفيدها
في سياق متصل، قال وزير الخارجية التونسي نور الدين الريّ، إنه “ليس لتونس والجزائر أيّ أجندة في ليبيا”
الري أوضح خلال مؤتمر صحافي مع نظيره الجزائري صبري بوقادوم، أنّ “تونس والجزائر لا تريدان إلا التوصل إلى حل ليبي – ليبي يوقف التدخلات الخارجيّة”
من ناحيته، رأى الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون، أمس الإثنين، لأنه “لا حل عسكريّ للأزمة الليبيّة”، داعياً إلى استئناف الحوار بشكل فوريّ وبدء العمليّة السياسيّة
وكانت قوّات المشير حفتر قد تراجعت في طرابلس بعد معارك دامت أكثر من عام حاولت خلالها السيطرة على العاصمة، حيث استعادت حكومة الوفاق السيطرة على كامل غرب ليبيا، واضطرت قوّات حفتر إلى التراجع إلى سرت التي تبعد 450 كلم شرق طرابلس
