The Islamic Resistance confirms the total lack of military presence at the aš-Šaqīf [Beaufort] Castle, revealing the falsehood of the victory pictures of the enemy.

The Operational Command of the Lebanese Islamic Resistance issued a detailed statement about the development of the situation on the ground and the presence of the Israeli enemy forces at the historic aš-Šaqīf Castle in Southern Lebanon, conforming that the Resistance is conducting a war of attrition against the forces of the Israeli Occupation’s “army” present in that area and pointed out that the upcoming photographed footages will prove that.
The statement explained that looking at the huge negative effect the Islamic Resistance if causing by its special operations against the forces of the enemy “army” to the mindset of the settlers within the Occupying Entity, the enemy “army” by trying to portray a picture, as if it achieved “a lightning victory” wanted to calm the nerves of the settlers in the North. The outlined goal for that was the historic aš-Šaqīf Castle that is only around 4 kilometers away from the Lebanese-Palestinian border.
About the details of the aggression on the ground, the Israeli enemy for a period of more than 5 days launched a series of heavy areal aggressions and artillery bombardments against the town of Yaḥmur aš-Šaqīf and the villages around it with the aim of taking control over the man’s to occupy the historic castle. As soon as the Occupation’s forces progressed towards the outskirts of the southern town, they met with a heroic and fierce resistance and heavy fire by the fighters of the Islamic Resistance preventing them to achieve their goals. Eventually the enemy resorted to take shelter at the outskirts of the eastern village with a rugged topography.
The statement revealed that at sunset on Saturday 30 May 2026 a group of the Israeli infantry under heavy smokes cover from the eastern side of the aš-Šaqīf Castle taking advantage of an unseeable pathway got through and reached the castle. There they took a series of photographs the enemy rushed to publish on Sunday morning and claimed that it occupied the castle. At the same time it pointed out that the castle was absolutely empty of any military presence by the Islamic Resistance.
The Operational Command of the Islamic Resistance closed its statement with confirming that the news since Sunday dawn until the time the statement was issued was facing a huge difficulty to consolidate its troops around the castle, as these troops are close to a resting area at the bottom of the castle.
With the confrontations going on at the frontlines the Lebanese Islamic Resistance extended the sphere of targeted attacks deep within the North of occupied Palestine also increasing the level of its missile fire. That was a response to the extension of the Israeli aggression and its attacks that had led to the martyrdom of the civilians in the southern towns and villages.

أصدرت غرفة عمليات المقاومة الإسلامية في لبنان بياناً تفصيلياً حول تطوّرات الأوضاع الميدانية ووجود قوات العدو الإسرائيلي في قلعة الشقيف التاريخية في الجنوب، مؤكّدةً أنّ المقاومة تخوض معركة استنزاف ضدّ قوات “جيش” الاحتلال الإسرائيلي الموجودة في تلك المنطقة، وأشارت إلى أنّ المشاهد المصوّرة المقبلة ستثبت ذلك.
وأوضح البيان أنه بالنظر إلى التأثير السلبي الكبير الذي تسبّبت به المواد المصوّرة التي تبثّها المقاومة الإسلامية لعملياتها النوعية ضدّ قوات “جيش” العدو في وعي المستوطنين داخل كيان الاحتلال، فقد سعى “جيش” العدو جاهداً للحصول على صورة يروّج لها على أنها “انتصار ساحق”، علّه يسكّن من خلالها روع مستوطني الشمال، فكان الهدف المرصود له هو قلعة الشقيف التاريخية التي تبعد نحو 4 كيلومترات فقط عن الحدود اللبنانية الفلسطينية.
وفي تفاصيل العدوان الميداني، شنّ العدو الإسرائيلي على مدى أكثر من 5 أيام سلسلة من الاعتداءات الجوية العنيفة والقصف المدفعي المكثّف على بلدة يحمر الشقيف والقرى المحيطة بها، بهدف السيطرة عليها واحتلال القلعة التاريخية. وما إن تقدّمت قوات الاحتلال باتجاه أطراف البلدة الجنوبية، حتى واجهت مقاومة بطولية وشرسة ونيراناً كثيفة من مجاهدي المقاومة الإسلامية منعتها من تحقيق هدفها، فاكتفى العدو باللجوء إلى أطراف البلدة الشرقية ذات التضاريس الوعرة.
وكشف البيان أنه عند غروب يوم السبت الموافق 30 أيار/مايو 2026، تسللت مجموعة مشاة إسرائيلية تحت غطاء دخاني كثيف من الجهة الشرقية لقلعة الشقيف مستغلةً المسارات غير المرئية، ووصلت إلى القلعة حيث التقطت مجموعة من الصور الفوتوغرافية التي سارع العدو إلى توزيعها صباح يوم الأحد والترويج بأنه احتلّ القلعة، مشيراً في الوقت ذاته إلى أنّ القلعة كانت خالية من أيّ وجود عسكري للمقاومة الإسلامية.
واختتمت غرفة عمليات المقاومة الإسلامية بيانها بالتأكيد أنّ العدو يواجه، منذ فجر أمس وحتى ساعة إصدار البيان، صعوبة كبيرة في تثبيت قواته في محيط القلعة، حيث توجد هذه القوات قرب منطقة الاستراحة أسفل القلعة.
ومع استمرار المواجهات عند الحافة الأمامية، وسّعت المقاومة الإسلامية في لبنان من نطاق استهدافاتها في عمق شمال فلسطين المحتلة رافعةً من وتيرة نيرانها الصاروخية، وذلك رداً على توسّع العدوان الإسرائيلي واعتداءاته المستمرة التي أدّت إلى استشهاد وإصابة المدنيين في القرى والبلدات الجنوبية
