Iranian Foreign Minister Ḥosseyn Amīr ‘Abdollahiyān in a telephone conversation with his Kuwaiti counterpart Aḥmad Nāṣir aṣ-Ṣabāḥ confirms the importance of strengthening the relations between the two countries and developing the regional dialogue.
Iranian Foreign Minister Ḥosseyn Amīr ‘Abdollahiyān in a telephone conversation with his Kuwaiti counterpart Aḥmad Nāṣir aṣ-Ṣabāḥ confirmed the readiness of Iran for expanding the bilateral relations between the two countries and to hold regional discussions.
During the phone conversation held yesterday, on Saturday Amīr ‘Abdollahiyān expressed that Tehran is ready to improve its relations with Kuwait and give progress to the regional dialogue. Thus explaining that his country’s government “confirms the constructive regional dialogue and cooperation in political principle of improving all relations with the neighbors. He also expressed that this cooperation serves the interest of regional security, progress, and development”.
Amīr ‘Abdollahiyān pointed out the temporal ceasefire in Yemen, expressing that Tehran welcomes it and confirms that the blockade has to be lifted completely and humanitarian aid must be sent to Yemen.
The Iranian Foreign Minister also talked about the most recent developments at the ongoing Vienna talks to end the American boycott.
On his own behalf, Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Aḥmad Nāṣir aṣ-Ṣabāḥ confirmed the intent of his country to build friendly relations with Iran, expressing his hopes that the temporal ceasefire in Yemen shall be the prelude for the Yemeni dialogue and to find a political solution in this county.
He also confirmed that the maritime borders and how to profit from the common [oil and gas] fields have to be determined, expressing that Kuwait is ready to reopen the truthful negotiations between the two countries.
He called upon his Iranian counterpart for a visit to Kuwait and dialogue about the ways to strengthen the bilateral relations and regional progress, confirming that his country is ready to support the regional dialogue.

وزير الخارجية الإيراني حسين أمير عبد اللهيان يؤكد في اتصال هاتفي مع نظيره الكويتي أحمد ناصر الصباح أهمية توطيد العلاقات بين البلدين وتنمية الحوار الإقليمي.
أكد وزير الخارجية الإيراني حسين أمير عبد اللهيان، في اتصال هاتفي مع نظيره الكويتي أحمد ناصر الصباح، استعداد إيران لتوسيع العلاقات الثنائية بین البلدین، وإجراء محادثات إقليمية.
وأعرب أمير عبد اللهيان، خلال الاتصال الهاتفي أمس الجمعة، عن استعداد طهران لتوطيد العلاقات مع الكويت وتنمية الحوار الإقليمي، موضحاً أنّ حكومة بلاده “تؤكد الحوار والتعاون العملي الإقليمي في إطار أولوية سياسة توطيد العلاقات الشاملة مع الجوار، وتعتبر أنّ هذا التعاون يصبّ لصالح الأمن والتقدم والتنمية الإقليمية”.
وأشار أمير عبد اللهيان إلى وقف إطلاق النار المؤقت في اليمن، معرباً عن ترحيب طهران به، مؤكداً ضرورة الرفع الكامل للحصار وإرسال المساعدات الإنسانية إلى شعب اليمن.
كما تحدث وزير الخارجية الإيراني عن أحدث المستجدات على صعيد مفاوضات فيينا الرامية إلى إلغاء الحظر الأميركي.
من جانبه، أكد وزير الخارجية الكويتي أحمد ناصر الصباح عزم بلاده على توطيد العلاقات مع إيران، معرباً عن أمله أن يؤدّي وقف إطلاق النار في اليمن إلى التمهيد للحوار اليمني وإيجاد حل للأزمة في هذا البلد.
كما أكد ضرورة تحديد الحدود البحرية والاستفادة من الحقول المشتركة، معرباً عن استعداد الكويت لاستئناف المفاوضات الحقوقية بين البلدين.
ودعا نظيره الإيراني إلى زيارة الكويت والحوار بشأن سبل تعزیز العلاقات الثنائیة والتطورات الإقليمية، مؤكداً دعم بلاده للحوار الإقليمي
