Bahrain announced that the director of the Israeli Intelligence Service, the “Mossad”, Yossi Cohen visited the kingdom yesterday, Wednesday and met with a number of high ranking Bahraini security officials.
The official Bahraini “BANA” news agency explained in a statement issued on Thursday Cohen was received by the director of the National Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General ‘Ādil ibn Halīfa al-Fāḍil and director of the Strategic Security Bureau Aḥmad ibn ‘Abd al-‘Azīz Āl Halīfa.
The news agency reported that during the meeting the two sides studied “the matters of mutual interests, and the role, which the agreement between the two sides will play in the strengthening of the stability in the region, and also the opening of new horizons in cooperation”.
The Emirates and Bahrain on 15 September in the White House signed two historical peace agreements with “Israel”, which state the creation of full diplomatic relations with it, in a step, which caused widespread condemnation by the Palestinian side and by many states.

وأفادت الوكالة بأن الجانبين بحثا خلال الزيارة “الموضوعات ذات الاهتمام المشترك،، والدور الذي سيساهم فيه الاتفاق بين الجانبين بشكلٍ بارز نحو تعزيز الاستقرار في المنطقة، وفتح آفاق التعاون
