Algerian President ‘Abd al-Mağīd Tabbūn and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan confirm the steady relations between the Algerian and the Turkish people and also their desire to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two states
Algerian President ‘Abd al-Mağīd Tabbūn and his Turkish partner Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in a telephone conversation on the occasion of the ‘Īd al-Aḍḥā confirmed their desire to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two states. Thus according to what the Algerian “an-Nahār” newspaper mentioned.
The newspaper reported that the two presidents confirmed the steady relations between the Algerian and the Turkish people and also their wish for further progress and development for both countries.
Last year Tabbūn visited Türkiye and met with his Turkish colleague, confirming “the readiness of his country to develop these relations on various fields in the service of the peoples of the two brotherly countries”.
During his visit Tabbūn said that the relationship between Ankara and Algiers is “very strong”, underlining the “importance of the relationship between the two states on all levels, including the economy, and politics and even history”.
At that time Tabbūn mentioned that “the Turkish investments in Algeria is at the top of the list among the states in which Türkiye is investing, as these investments reached up to more than $4 billion, while the yearly trade exchange between the two countries shifts between $4 billion and $5 billion”.

أكد الرئيس الجزائري عبد المجيد تبون، ونظيره التركي رجب طيب إردوغان، سعيهما إلى تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين، خلال محادثة هاتفية، تبادلا خلالها التهاني بمناسبة عيد الأضحى، بحسب ما ذكرت صحيفة “النهار” الجزائرية
وأوردت الصحيفة إن الرئيسين أكدا متانة العلاقات بين الشعبين الجزائري والتركي، وتمنّيا مزيداً من التقدّم والازدهار للبلدين
وفي العام الفائت، زار تبون تركيا، والتقى نظيره التركي، مؤكداً “استعداد بلاده لتطويرها في مختلف الميادين، لما فيه خدمة شعبي البلدين الصديقين
وقال تبون خلال زيارته، إنّ علاقة أنقرة والجزائر “قويةً جداً”، مشدداً على “أهمية العلاقات بين البلدين، على جميع الأصعدة ولا سيما الاقتصادية، والسياسية والتاريخية”.
وذكر تبون حينها أنّ “الاستثمارات التركية في الجزائر تعدّ في المرتبة الأولى من بين الدول التي تستثمر فيها تركيا حيث بلغت أكثر من 4 مليارات دولار، ويتراوح أيضاً حجم المبادلات التجارية بين البلدين بين 4 و5 مليارات دولار سنوياً
