The Syria Armed Forces in cooperation with the Russian forces targeted the barricaded stronghold of the terrorist organizations in the Ğabal al-Arba‘īn region in rural Idlib with airstrikes and precision missiles.
On Wednesday the Syrian Ministry of Defense reported that the armed forces in cooperation with the Russian forces carried out airstrikes and precision missile strikes in which they targeted the barricaded stronghold of the terrorist organizations in the Ğabal al-Arba‘īn region in rural Idlib.
The Defense Ministry said that this came “in response to the daily recurring attacks carried out by the terrorist organizations against the civilians in the safe residential areas in rural Ḥamā.
It added that the strikes targeted weapons, ammunition, targeting equipment, reconnaissance and attack drones, monitoring and jamming devices, and that led to the total destruction of the terrorist hideout and the killing and injuring of dozens of terrorists.
On Tuesday sources to al-Mayadeen in Syria confirmed that Syrian and Russian warplanes carried out a series of areal strikes upon a number of positions at Ğabal az-Zāwiya in southern Idlib.
The sources said that the airstrikes targeted one of the biggest centers of the “Hay’at Taḥrīr aš-Šām” in Idlib led to deaths and injuries in the ranks of the armed men.
The sources pointed out that the targeted center contained rooms, storage, and vehicle depots. That attack upon it used joint Syria and Russian areal weapons and artillery.
A few days ago Syria and the Russian air forces jointly carried out a series of airstrikes targeting military targets of the “Hay’at Taḥrīr aš-Šām” and the “Turkestani Islamic Party” in the rural areas of Idlib and Latakia.
The developments on the ground came after the escalation that was caused by the armed men against the safe areas at the villages of Ğūrīn, Salḥab, and Dayr Šamīl in the western region of Ḥamā and al-Qurdāḥa in rural Latakia using missiles and drones. These caused the death of 4 martyrs including two children and a number of injuries.
The escalation by the armed groups against the safe regions came in light of the Turkish-Syrian negotiations that the factions considered to be a threat to the areas under their control in Idlib, Northern Aleppo, and rural Latakia.
In the city of Idlib and parts of its rural area, terrorist organizations are present, most of them belonging to the “an-Nuṣra Front” which is on the international terrorist list.

أعلنت وزارة الدفاع السورية، اليوم الأربعاء، أنّ القوات المسلحة، نفّذت بالتعاون مع القوات الروسية، ضربات جوية وصاروخية دقيقة ونوعية استهدفت من خلالها المقار المحصنة للتنظيمات الإرهابية في منطقة جبل الأربعين في ريف إدلب
وقالت وزارة الدفاع إنّ ذلك يأتي “رداً على الاعتداءات اليومية المتكررة التي تنفذها التنظيمات الإرهابية على المدنيين في المناطق السكنية الآمنة في ريف حماة
وأضافت أنّ الضربات استهدفت أسلحة وذخائر وأدوات توجيه وطائرات مسيرة استطلاعية وضاربة ومعدات تنصت وتشويش، وأدت إلى تدمير المقار الإرهابية بالكامل ومقتل وإصابة عشرات الإرهابيين
وأمس الثلاثاء، أكّدت مصادر الميادين في سوريا، أنّ طائراتٍ حربية سورية – روسية مشتركة نفّذت سلسلةَ غاراتٍ جوّية على عدّة مواقع في جبل الزاوية جنوب إدلب
المصادر قالت إنّ الضربات الجوية استهدفت أحد أكبر معاقل “هيئة تحرير الشام” في إدلب، ما أدّى إلى وقوع قتلى وجرحى في صفوف المسلحين
وأشارت المصادر إلى أنّ المعقل المُستهدف يضمّ غُرفاً ومستودعات ومرأب آليات، وتركّزت الضربات عليه بسلاحَي الجو والمدفعية السوري- الروسي المشتركيْن
ومنذ أيام، نفّذ سلاحا الجو السوري- الروسي المشتركان، سلسلة غارات استهدفت أهدافاً عسكرية لـ”هيئة تحرير الشام”، و”الحزب الإسلامي التركستاني”، في ريفَي إدلب واللاذقية
وتأتي التطورات الميدانية بعد التصعيد الذي نفّذه المسلحون ضد المناطق الآمنة في قرى جورين وسلحب ودير شميل في ريف حماة الغربي، والقرداحة في ريف اللاذقية، عبر استخدام الصواريخ والطائرات المُسيّرة، والذي أسفر عن 4 شهداء، بينهم طفلان، وعدد من الجرحى
ويأتي تصعيد الجماعات المسلّحة ضد المناطق الآمنة في ظلّ المفاوضات التركية – السورية، والتي عدّتها الفصائل تهديداً لمناطق نفوذها في إدلب وشمالي حلب وريف اللاذقية
وتنتشر في مدينة إدلب وأجزاء من ريفها مجموعاتٌ إرهابية، تنتمي أغلبيتها إلى تنظيم “جبهة النصرة”، المُدرج في لائحة الإرهاب الدولية
