The SANA Syrian news agency reports citing a source in the Rumaylān oil field district says that “the American forces set up an oil refinery with the capacity of 3000 barrels a day in cooperation with the “Qasad” militia.
Citing a source at the Rumaylān oil field district in al-Ḥasaka Province the Syrian “SANA” news agency reported that “the American forces set up an oil refinery with the capacity reaching up to 3000 barrels a day in cooperation with the Qasad militia”.
The source presumes that the next period will witness “a huge increase in the stealing operations of the Syrian oil and its embezzlement after this refinery is set up”.
In the same context SANA citing a local source revealed that “the American forces yesterday night, on Saturday evacuated a convoy of 79 vehicles, including oil carriers carrying stolen Syrian oil, in addition to cooler vehicles, carrier and a number of trucks accompanied by 4 army vehicles heading all to Northern Iraq via the illegal border crossings”.
The ar-Rumaylān oil and gas field district in in al-Ḥasaka holds one of the biggest illegal American military bases in Syria, and that was the first airbase set up by the American army in the country. That came after it took over the “Tall Ḥağar” agricultural airport here, only to develop it later on to make it suitable for the landing and departure of huge airplanes.
Syria’s raw oil production in 2010 was reaching up to 360 thousand barrels a day, from which 100 thousand barrels came from the ar-Rumaylān oil field alone. As for the grain, the province of al-Ḥasaka produces almost one million tons of it yearly.
During the last year a number of American stealing operations were documented for the Syrian oil from the oilfields of the Northeast of the country, where American forces and bases are present. Especially in August, when the American forces in the middle of that month took out a convoy comprised of 30 oil carriers full of oil towards Northern Iraq accompanied by a number of its armored vehicles.
The same matter is also connected to the grain seeds, as the American forces in the beginning of May took out a convoy of trucks carrying grain from the region of al-Ya‘rubiyya in rural al-Qāmišlī to Iraq via the illegal al-Walīd border crossing.

وكالة “سانا” السورية للأنباء تنقل عن مصدرٍ في مديرية حقول رميلان قوله إنَّ “القوات الأميركية ركّبت مصفاةَ نفطٍ بطاقةٍ تصل إلى 3000 برميلٍ يوميّاً، بالتعاون مع ميليشيا قسد
نقلت وكالة الأنباء السورية “سانا” عن مصدرٍ في مديرية حقول رميلان، الواقعة في محافظة الحسكة، قوله إنَّ “القوات الأميركية ركّبت مصفاةَ نفطٍ بطاقةٍ تصل إلى 3000 برميلٍ يوميّاً، بالتعاون مع ميليشيا قسد”.
وتوقّع المصدر أن تشهد الفترة المقبلة “زيادةً كبيرةً في عملياتِ سرقةِ النفط السوري ونهبِه، بعد تركيب هذه المصفاة”.
وفي السياق ذاته، كشفت “سانا”، نقلاً عن مصادرَ محلية، أنَّ “القوات الأميركية أخرجت مساءَ أمس السبت رتلاً من 79 آلية، بينها صهاريج محمّلة بالنفط السوري المسروق، إضافةً إلى برّاداتٍ وناقلاتٍ وعددٍ من الشاحنات، ترافقها 4 سياراتٍ عسكريةٍ، وتوجّهت بها إلى شمالي العراق عبر المعابر غير الشرعية”.
وتضمُّ مديرية حقول نفط وغاز الحسكة في الرميلان واحدةً من أكبر القواعد الأميركية العسكرية غير الشرعية في سوريا، وهي أوَّلُ قاعدةٍ جويةٍ أنشأها الجيش الأميركي في البلاد، وذلك بعد أن استولى على مطار “تل حجر” الزراعي التابع لها، ليقوم بعد ذلك بتطويره ليتناسب مع حركة هبوط وإقلاع الطائرات الضخمة.
وكان إنتاج سوريا من النفط الخام عام 2010 قد وصل إلى ما يقارب 360 ألفَ برميلٍ يومياً، منها 100 ألف برميلٍ يومياً من حقول مديرية نفط الرميلان وحدها. أمَّا القمح، فكانت محافظة الحسكة تُنتج ما يُقارب مليونَ طنٍّ سنوياً.
وخلال العام الماضي، تم توثيق أكثر من عملية سرقة أميركية للنفط السوري من حقول شمالي شرقي البلاد، حيث توجد قوات وقواعد أميركية، خاصة في شهر آب/أغسطس، حيث أخرجت القوات الأميركية في منتصف هذا الشهر رتلاً مؤلّفاً من 30 صهريجاً معبّأ بالنفط نحو شمالي العراق، برفقة عدد من المدرّعات التابعة لها.
والأمر ذاته في ما يتعلّق بالحبوب، حيث أخرجت القوات الأميركية، مطلع أيار/مايو، رتلَ شاحناتٍ محمّلاً بالحبوب من منطقة اليعربية في ريف القامشلي، إلى العراق عبر معبر الوليد غير الشرعي
