After the announcement by the occupying Turkish forces to withdraw from the observation posts, which were under siege by the Syrian Army in Ḥamā countryside sources close to the Turkish occupation revealed the posts which Turkey will withdraw from in the future. A Syrian military expert has also spoken about the reasons for this withdrawal and the possibility that the Syrian Army starts a military operation to regain Idlib.

The Syria “al-Waṭan” newspaper reported on opposition sources close to the “Faylaq aš-Šām” militia, which accompanies the patrols and convoys of the Turkish occupational army that the withdrawal, as it is scheduled, happened last night, including the arrival of the necessary trucks to carry tanks and heavy machinery tonight to evacuate the illegal post. This mission has ended yesterday and today by dismantling the logistical equipment and the observation towers to carry out the final decision by the Defense Ministry of the Turkish regime to pull back the post to another not being under siege inside the territory under the oversight of the Turkish occupation and the armed factions belonging to it, which act under its orders in the occupied territories of Idlib.
It was pointed out that the withdrawal from the Šīr Maġār post from the al-Ġāb Plains situated within the areas controlled by the Syrian state in the western Ḥamā countryside is within the agenda by the military command of Turkey about the two posts in Ma‘ar Ḥaṭṭāṭ and aṣ-Ṣarmān in southern and eastern Idlib in the upcoming period, though without precisely outlining the date when the operation will end.
At the same time with the Turkish measures the Syrian military and strategical expert Brigadier General dr. ‘Alī Maqṣūd said in an interview with the Russian “Sputnik” agency: “actually, Turkey decided on three posts to withdraw from in Northeast Ḥamā countryside”.
The statements about the three phases of withdrawal from Mūrak will start the pullout operation during these hours towards the edges of the az-Zāwiyya Mountains and after to Išrabraq. Therefore this decision is built on the Russian-Turkish agreement to evacuate the observation posts from Idlib and Ḥamā countrysides. These posts are anyways not functioning and are under siege by the Syrian Army ready for weeks to launch a military operation to end the terrorism in these two areas. After the fall of the az-Zāwiyya Mountains and Ğisr aš-Šuġūr the Turks have become under siege at every plane they are present in”.
Brigadier General Maqṣūd added: “The Syrian Arab Army does not need an agreement between the Russian and the Turks, or from anyone to carry out any military operations”. Thus explaining that the Syrian state is dedicated to its Russian allies, confirming that the military operations don’t need any sides, as they aim to liberate the occupied territories, either by terrorist groups, or the Turkish or American occupiers.
It should be pointed out that the Syrian Army confirms its continued readiness to launch a military operation aiming to regain what is left from Idlib Province and rural Ḥamā and is waiting for the orders to start the operation.

ونقلت صحيفة “الوطن” السورية عن مصادر معارضة مقرّبة من ميليشيا “فيلق الشام”، التي ترافق دوريات وأرتال جيش الاحتلال التركي، أن الانسحاب، وفقاً لما هو مقرر له، تم ليلة أمس الاثنين، لاسيما مع وصول كل الشاحنات اللازمة لحمل الدبابات والآليات الثقيلة مساء اليوم لإفراغ النقطة غير الشرعية، والانتهاء أمس ونهار اليوم من تفكيك المعدات اللوجستية وأبراج المراقبة واتخاذ قرار نهائي من وزارة الدفاع في النظام التركي بسحب النقطة إلى أخرى غير مُحاصرة داخل مناطق هيمنة جيش الاحتلال التركي والمجموعات المسلحة التابعة لها التي تسير تحت إمرته في المناطق المحتلة من إدلب
وأشارت إلى أن سحب نقطة شير مغار من سهل الغاب، الواقعة ضمن مناطق نفوذ الدولة السورية في ريف حماة الغربي، هو على أجندة القيادة العسكرية لتركيا مع نقطتي معرحطاط والصرمان جنوب إدلب وشرقها خلال الفترة القادمة من دون تحديد موعد محدد لإنهاء العملية
وتعليقاً على هذا الإجراء التركي قال الخبير العسكري الاستراتيجي العميد الدكتور علي مقصود، في لقاء مع وكالة “سبوتنيك” الروسية: “في الحقيقة حددت تركيا ثلاث نقاط لتنسحب منها من ريف حماة الشمالي الغربي
التحضيرات على ثلاث مراحل للانسحاب من مورك، وربما تبدأ عملية الإخلاء خلال هذه الساعات باتجاه محيط جبال الزاوية ومن بعدها اشتبرق، إذاً، هناك قرار مبني على اتفاق روسي-تركي لإخلاء نقاط المراقبة من ريفي إدلب وحماة، هذه النقاط بالأصل معطلة ومحاصرة من قبل الجيش السوري المستعد منذ أسبوعين لإطلاق العملية العسكرية لإنهاء الإرهاب في هاتين المنطقتين بعد سقوط جبل الزاوية وجسر الشغور ليبقى التركي محاصراً بكل أماكن انتشاره
وأضاف العميد مقصود “الجيش العربي السوري لا يحتاج إلى اتفاق بين الروسي والتركي أو أي كان لتنفيذ أي عملية عسكرية” مبيناً أن الدولة السورية ملتزمة مع حليفها الروسي، مؤكداً أن العمليات العسكرية لا تحتاج لأي جهة كانت طالما أنها تهدف لتحرير أرضي محتلة سواء من المجاميع الإرهابية أو الاحتلال التركي والأمريكي
