The sources of al-Mayadeen report that the Russian security and military delegation has met with the leadership of the Syrian Democratic Forces in al-Ḥasaka province to study the Turkish threats against the cities and towns of the border area.
The sources of al-Mayadeen reported: that a Russian military and security delegation has met with the “Qasad” leadership in al-Ḥasaka province to sturdy the Turkish threats against the cities and towns of the border area.
The sources added: that the delegation arrived with a special military plane at the al-Qāmišlī airport and met with the “Qasad” leadership at the Live Stone resort to the West of al-Ḥasaka city. It was also pointed out that the delegation transferred the views of the “Qasad” leadership about the latest Turkish threats, while at the same time Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov visited Ankara.
The “Qasad” leadership announced in a statement that work has been done for the cooperation with the Syrian Army to confront the Turkish threats against the North of the country and the statement confirmed “the seriousness of the Turkish threats”.
The statement held that “the military committee of the Syrian Democratic Forces held an exceptional meeting with the participation of the councils’ and the military factions’ leadership to discuss the recent developments in the Northern and Eastern Syrian regions following the Turkish threats of expected raids targeting the region”.
It continued: “During the meeting, the general leadership looked over the details of the Turkish aggressions in a broad view, which has targeted in the recent periods the areas of Tall Tamr, Razkān, Minbiğ, and aš-Šahbā’ and the leadership of the local military committees explained the latest situation, the living conditions of the local civilian population and the ways to protect them”.
The statement added that “the Syrian Democratic Forces put it amongst its priorities to deescalate the situation and adhere to its commitments, underlining at the same time the readiness of the forces to protect the area and its population against any possible attacks”. It claimed: “The meeting confirmed that the possible Turkish raid will have its effect on the stability and unity of the Syrian lands and thus the resistance against it will not limit itself to the targeted areas alone but will expand to include other areas within the occupied Syrian lands”.
General Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces Maẓlūm ‘Abdī warmed in a tweet last Thursday against “any Turkish aggression against Northern Syria, as it will affect the military operations against Dā‘iš negatively”.
This now comes only one day after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s announcement that “Turkey will cleanse the regions of Tall Rif‘at and Minbiğ in Northern Syria from terrorists”. Thus revealing the aims of the new Turkish offensive for the first time”.
Since 2016 Turkey carried out 4 operations in Northern Syria and occupied hundreds of square kilometers of its land. These operations focused on a 30 kilometers wide strip.

ذكرت مصادر للميادين: أنّ وفداً عسكرياً وأمنياً روسياً التقى قيادة “قسد” في محافظة الحسكة لبحث التهديدات التركية على مدن وبلدات الشريط الحدودي
وأضافت المصادر: أنّ الوفد وصل بطائرة عسكرية خاصة إلى مطار القامشلي والتقى قيادة “قسد” في منتجع لايف ستون غرب الحسكة، مشيرةً إلى أنّ الوفد نقل وجهة نظر قيادة “قسد” في التهديدات التركية الأخيرة تزامناً مع زيارة وزير الخارجية الروسي سيرغي لافروف إلى أنقرة.
وكانت قيادة “قسد” قد أعلنت في بيانٍ لها العمل من أجل التنسيق مع الجيش السوري لمواجهة التهديدات التركية لشمالي البلاد، وأكدت في البيان “جدية التهديدات التركية
وقال البيان إنّ “المجلس العسكري لقوات سوريا الديمقراطية عقد اجتماعاً استثنائياً بحضور قادة المجالس والفصائل العسكرية لمناقشة التطورات الأخيرة في مناطق شمالي وشرقي سوريا، إثر التهديدات التركية بغزو محتمل يستهدف المنطقة”.
وتابع: “خلال الاجتماع، أطلعت القيادة العامة بصورة موسعة على تفاصيل الاعتداءات التركية، التي استهدفت في الفترة الماضية مناطق تل تمر، وزركان، ومنبج، والشهباء، وشرح قادة المجالس العسكرية في تلك المناطق الأوضاع الأخيرة، وتأثيرها في حياة المدنيين وسبل حمايتهم”.
وأضاف البيان أنّ “قوات سوريا الديمقراطية تضع في أولوياتها خفض التصعيد والتزام الاتفاقيات، مشدداً في الوقت عينه على استعداد القوات لحماية المنطقة وسكانها من أي هجمات محتملة”، وأردف قائلاً: “الاجتماع أكد أنّ الغزو التركي المحتمل سيؤثر في استقرار الأراضي السورية ووحدتها، لذا، لن تقتصر مواجهته على المناطق المستهدفة وحسب، بل سيتوسّع نطاقها ليشمل مناطق أخرى داخل الأراضي السورية المحتلة”.
وحذّر القائد العام لقوات سوريا الديمقراطية مظلوم عبدي في تغريدة، الخميس الفائت، من أنّ “أي عدوان تركي على شمالي سوريا سيؤثر سلباً في العمليات العسكرية ضد تنظيم داعش”.
ويأتى ذلك بعد يوم من إعلان الرئيس التركي رجب طيب إردوغان أنّ “تركيا ستطهّر منطقتي تل رفعت ومنبج في شمالي سوريا من الإرهابيين”، كاشفاً عن أهداف التوغل التركي الجديد للمرة الأولى.
ونفّذت أنقرة 4 عمليات في شمالي سوريا منذ عام 2016، واحتلت مئات الكيلومترات من الأراضي، وتركزت تلك العمليات في شريط باتساع 30 كيلومتراً
