Qālībāf responds to the American claims about the unfrozen Iranian assets and confirms that Washington only exports attacking words.

Speaker of the Iranian Consultative Council Moḥammad Bāqer Qālībāf criticized the American statements about the unfrozen Iranian assets, expressing that the United States spreads untrue claims about the mechanism of its use.
Qālībāf said that the United States “claims fabrications that the unfrozen Iranian assets are used to buy American agricultural products”.
He added that “the only gain we harvest is what you had sawn, which is decades of distrust”.
Qālībāf continued saying that the United States “only exports genetically modified soybeans, empty promises and attacking words”.
The words of Qālībāf came in response to the claims of American President Donald Trump on Monday that the frozen Iranian assets that will be unfrozen “will only be used to buy foodstuffs from the American farmers”.
Tehran confirms that there is no obligation that would state any decisions about the way of usage of these assets and underlines that the decree concerning the use is only up to Iran.
The frozen Iranian assets count to be one of the most sensitive cases in the current negotiations between the two sides, as Tehran considers them of a non-negotiable sovereign right, while Washington aims to connect any steps concerning these funds to arrangements and implementation mechanisms linked to the latest understandings.

انتقد رئيس مجلس الشورى الإيراني محمد باقر قاليباف التصريحات الأميركية بشأن الأصول الإيرانية المفرج عنها، معتبراً أن الولايات المتحدة تروّج مزاعم غير صحيحة حول آلية استخدامها.
وقال قاليباف إن الولايات المتحدة “تزعم زوراً أن الأصول الإيرانية المفرج عنها ستُستخدم لشراء منتجاتها الزراعية”.
وأضاف أن “المحصول الوحيد الذي نحصدُه هو ما زرعتموه أنتم، وهو عقود من انعدام الثقة
وتابع قاليباف قائلاً إن الولايات المتحدة “لا تصدّر سوى فول الصويا المعدّل وراثياً والوعود الزائفة والتهجم الكلامي
ويأتي كلام قاليباف، رداً على مزاعم الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترمب، الاثنين، بأن الأموال الإيرانية المجمدة التي سيفرج عنها “ستُستخدم حصراً لشراء المواد الغذائية من المزارعين الأميركيين”.
وتؤكد طهران عدم وجود التزام تعاقدي يقيّد قرارها بشأن كيفية استخدام هذه الأموال، وتشدد على أن القرار المتعلق باستخدامها يعود إليها حصراً.
وتُعدّ الأصول الإيرانية المجمدة واحدة من أكثر الملفات حساسية في المفاوضات الجارية بين الجانبين، إذ تعتبرها طهران حقاً سيادياً غير قابل للمساومة، بينما تسعى واشنطن إلى ربط أي خطوات تتعلق بهذه الأموال بترتيبات وآليات تنفيذ مرتبطة بالتفاهمات الأخيرة
