The Iranian cities witnessed massive marches and gatherings on the National Day, supporting the leadership and condemning the aggression.

The streets of the Iranian capital Tehran and that of many major cities on the night of the National Day for the Islamic Republic transformed into squares of absolutely spectacular popular movements, as supportive marches broke out condemning the American-Israeli aggression and once again swearing allegiance to the Iranian leadership.

The reality on the ground showed the noticeable participation of Iranian President Mas‘ūd Pezeškiyān, who joined the masses of the major popular gatherings in the hearth of the capital, as a message of solid unity against the foreign threats. Foreign Minister ‘Abbās ‘Arāqčī did the same.

In a television interview showing ‘Arāqčī among the masses, he confirmed that his goal with the participation was to “recharge energy and spirit” from the people.

‘Arāqčī said: “I am, but a drop of this people. I came here to participate in this street movement and be happy by this unity and popular cooperation that provides us with very high mental spirits”.

‘Arāqčī responding to a question about his observations about what he sees, added: “This is very amazing and great. One cannot help by to feel happy about these people ready to take sacrifices for their country in these efforts and preserving their social cohesion and endurance, despite all the challenges”.

The Enqelāb Square in the Iranian capital Tehran witnessed a massively supportive night, as the citizens gathered to commemorate the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

The participants raised slogans confirming the national unity and holding on the values of the Revolution, while there were also religious chants and condemnation of the American and Israeli policies. The people once again reiterated their form position confronting the current challenges and foreign pressures.

These popular marches came on the night of the first day of April, the anniversary of proclaiming the results of the national referendum in 1979, in which 98.2% of the Iranians voted for founding “the Islamic Republic”.

This day, known as “Islamic Republic Day” counts to be a symbol milestone for the formation of the modern political leadership in Iran starting a period of popular sovereignty after the Shah’s rule collapsed.

The masses in Enqelāb Square in Tehran commemorated this yearly occasion by reiterating that they hold on to the principles of national independence and rejecting the foreign interventions. This year these commemorations represent that 47 years have passed since this historic transition, amidst the aggression Iran is suffering.

شهدت المدن الإيرانية مسيرات وتجمعات ضخمة في اليوم الوطني دعماً للقيادة وتنديداً بالعدوان

تحوّلت شوارع العاصمة الإيرانية طهران وعدد من المدن الكبرى، ليلة اليوم الوطني للجمهورية الإسلامية، إلى ساحات تلاحم شعبي منقطع النظير، حيث خرجت مسيرات حاشدة تنديداً بالعدوان الأميركي الإسرائيلي وتجديداً للبيعة مع القيادة الإيرانية

المشهد الميداني سجّل حضوراً لافتاً للرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان، الذي شارك الجماهير في تجمع شعبي كبير بقلب العاصمة، في رسالة وحدة صلبة أمام التهديدات الخارجية، ووزير الخارجية عباس عراقتشي.

وفي لقاء تلفزيوني، ظهر عراقتشي وهو يتوسط الحشود، مؤكداً أنّ هدفه من المشاركة هو “استمداد الطاقة والمعنويات” من نبض الناس.

وقال عراقتشي: “أنا قطرة من هذا الشعب، جئت لأشارك في هذا التحرك الميداني وأستمتع بهذه الوحدة والتلاحم الشعبي الذي يمنحنا روحاً معنوية عالية جداً

وأضاف عراقتشي رداً على سؤال حول انطباعه عن المشهد: “إنه رائع جداً وممتاز يغبط المرء هؤلاء الناس الذين يضحون من أجل بلدهم بهذا الحماس، ويحافظون على صمودهم وتماسكهم الاجتماعي على الرغم من كل التحديات

وشهدت ساحة الثورة في العاصمة الإيرانية طهران ليلة حاشدة، حيث تجمع المواطنون لإحياء الذكرى الـ 47 للثورة الإسلامية.

ورفع المشاركون شعارات تؤكد على الوحدة الوطنية والتمسك بقيم الثورة، وسط هتافات التكبير والتنديد بالسياسات الأمريكية والإسرائيلية، مجددين موقفهم الثابت في مواجهة التحديات الراهنة والضغوط الخارجية

تأتي هذه التحركات الشعبية عشية الأول من نيسان/أبريل، الذكرى السنوية لإعلان نتائج استفتاء عام 1979 الذي صوّت فيه 98.2% من الإيرانيين لصالح تأسيس “الجمهورية الإسلامية”.

ويُعد هذا اليوم، المعروف بـ “يوم الجمهورية الإسلامية”، المحطة الرسمية لولادة النظام السياسي الحديث في إيران وبداية مرحلة السيادة الشعبية عقب سقوط حكم الشاه.

وتحرص الحشود في “ساحة الثورة” بطهران على إحياء هذه المناسبة سنوياً لتجديد التمسك بمبادئ الاستقلال الوطني ورفض التدخلات الخارجية. وتمثل احتفالات هذا العام مرور 47 عاماً على ذلك التحول التاريخي، وسط العدوان الذي تتعرض له إيران
