The Lebanese “al-Ahbār” newspaper reported on Saturday that it got hold of a security document, which shows the role of the American Embassy in Baghdad in the management of the secret formations into the “October Protests [Taẓāhurāt Tišrīn].

The newspaper said in its report that “the embassy acts through the following tools: the Supreme Council for the Protests: and contributes to the cooperation, the management and the direction on the ground; it defines the trajectory and the movement of the protest; contributes to the unity of the slogans and to protect it from infiltration; and graces it with huge technological help from the the embassy, from certain politicians and agents in the government, in the security apparatuses and in the telecommunications companies.”
It also added that “the Mental Operations Division: works on to send media threats to cause mental impact, to break the moral of the government’s and the security agencies’ crew, airs a massive number of claims to the public, and fills the protestors against the government.” Revealing that “the electronic movement division, which is in fact a trained and organized electronic army deals with [artificially] creating electronic protestors, fills the streets and delivers all the informations about the roads, the directions of the breakers [those who would break the protests], how to appear and about the departure in the ground; and this directs the activist newspapers to be influential, while the others to be ordinary.”
It continues with “the Violations’ Documentation Division: a very influential division. It receives special trainings in Irbil and in Amman, and works to air violations and its fabrications and magnifies the security mistakes. It also oversees the preparation of reports, supported by documents and testimonies proving that the security agencies committed horrific violations, that they violate the freedom of expression, they incarcerate protestors, that they kill, wound, torture and such similar things… apart from that it prepares those reports, which affirmed that the protestors adhere to the rules of peaceful protests.”
The newspaper revealed that “the international pressure groups: deals with organizing protests in from of the Iraqi embassies and consulates around the world, while it also promotes these via the media and the Media Division. That [latter] deals with covering the protestors’ activities, and airs the violations, while promotes these [violations] in cooperation with the local and international channels as websites, and also [in cooperation with] the Electronic Technical Division. That is a division specialized to solve the supposed dangers on the internet grid, to find alternative tools and applications, and works directly with the Media Council. Usually it resides in hotel or apartments close to the protests.”
It pointed to the “Salvation Division, or Medical Division, which works to evacuate the wounded, to threat them and to provide first aid to them. It also directs the protestors how to overcome the tactics of the riot [police] force. This scatters through the places of the protests and to the vicinity of the hospitals. The Logistical Support Division: works to provide some of the essential needs, like food, drink, first aid under the slogan of (supportive citizens).

أفادت صحيفة “الأخبار” اللبنانية، السبت، بأنها حصلت على وثيقة أمنية تبيّن دور السفارة الأميركية في بغداد في إدارة التشكيلات السرية لـ«تظاهرات تشرين».

وقالت الصحيفة في تقرير لها إن “السفارة تعمل وفق الآلية الآتية: اللجنة العليا للتظاهرات: تؤدي دور التنسيق والإدارة والتوجيه الميداني، وتتولّى تحديد مسار التظاهر وحركته، وتوحيد الهتافات والحفاظ عليها من الاختراق، وتحظى بدعم معلوماتي كبير من السفارة، ومن بعض السياسيين والعاملين في الحكومة والأجهزة الأمنية وشركات الاتصالات”
وأضافت أن “فريق العمليات النفسية: يعمل على إرسال التهديدات الإعلامية لإحداث التأثير النفسي وكسر معنويات الطاقم الحكومي وأفراد الجهاز الأمني، وبثّ الشائعات بغزارة إلى الجمهور وتعبئة المتظاهرين ضد الحكومة”، مبينة أن “فريق التحشيد الإلكتروني وهو جيش إلكتروني مدرّب ومنظّم يهتمّ بصناعة المعارضين الإلكترونيين، وتعبئة الشارع، وإيصال التعليمات كافة حول طرق واتجاهات القواطع والنزول والانطلاق الميداني، وهو يدير صفحات ناشطة مؤثرة وأخرى عادية”
وتابعت، “فريق توثيق الانتهاكات: فريق مؤثر جداً، تلقى تدريبات خاصة في أربيل وعمّان، وهو يعمل على رصد الانتهاكات وفبركتها وتضخيم الأخطاء الأمنية. كما يتولّى إعداد تقارير مدعومة بالوثائق والشهادات تثبت قيام الأجهزة الأمنية بانتهاكات جسيمة ومخالفة لمعايير حرية التعبير، واعتقال المتظاهرين، وقتل وإصابة وتعذيب وغير ذلك… إلى جانب إعداد التقارير التي تؤكد التزام المتظاهرين بقواعد التظاهر السلمي”
وبينت الصحيفة، أن “مجموعة الضغط الدولي: تهتم بتنظيم الوقفات الاحتجاجية أمام السفارات والقنصليات العراقية في دول العالم، والترويج لذلك إعلامياً وفريق الإعلام: يهتم بتغطية أنشطة المتظاهرين، ورصد الانتهاكات والترويج لها بالتعاون مع قنوات ومواقع محلية وأجنبية والفريق التقني الإلكتروني: فريق تقني مختص بمعالجة مشاكل الحظر المفروض على شبكة الإنترنت، وإيجاد وسائل وتطبيقات بديلة، وهو يعمل بشكل مباشر مع لجنة الإعلام، وعادة ما يكون في الفنادق أو المنازل القريبة من أماكن التظاهرات”
واشارت إلى أن “فريق الإغاثة يهتم فريق طبي، يهتم بإخلاء المصابين ومعالجتهم، وتقديم الإسعافات الأولية، وتوجيه المتظاهرين حول كيفية تفادي تكتيكات قوة فض الشغب، ويكون انتشاره في موقع التظاهرات وقرب المستشفيات وفريق الدعم اللوجستي: يهتم بتوفير بعض المتطلبات الأساسية مثل الطعام والشراب والإسعافات الأولية تحت عنوان (مواطنون داعمون)”
