The Israeli media reports that the Knesset’s commission approved the decision of the occupation Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and its foreign minister Yair Lapid to dismiss the Knesset on Wednesday.
According to what the Israeli media reported, on Tuesday the Israeli Knesset’s commission approved the draft legislation to dismiss the Knesset by the motion of the coalition on Wednesday.
The Prime Minister of the occupation Naftali Bennett and his foreign minister Yair Lapid decided to dismiss the Knesset and temporarily appoint Lapid as the head of Bennett’s government before they head to early elections.
Bennett confirmed in a press conference with Lapid that the decision came, because “the attempts to achieve stability within the governing coalition have failed”.
Lapid said that “even if we were to end up with elections in a few months, our challenges cannot wait”. Thus adding that “we must solve the growing living expenses, while handling the struggle against Iran, Ḥamās and the Ḥizb Allah”.
The Israeli media added that Lapid’s tenure as head of the coalition government is expected to last – at least – 4 to 6 months, until a new government is sworn in. Yet if the elections fail to bring decisive results Lapid may remain in this position for addiction months after that.
The leader of the opposition in the Knesset and former head of government Benjamin Netanyahu after the decision of Bennett and Lapid confirmed that “he will return to power and establish a broad government led by the Likud”. Thus expressing that “the Bennett government largely failed on all security, political and economic aspects.
On his behalf Minister of the Judiciary in the Israeli Occupation’s government Gadon Sair believed that “the aim of the early elections is clear. It is to prevent Netanyahu to return to power and exploit the country for his own benefit”.
On the other hand Minister of Finance Avidgor Lieberman said that “the elections today is the result of mislead, lies and trick by only one person, who is Benjamin Netanyahu and the main goal of the early elections is to prevent him returning to power”.
By the decision of Bennett to dissolve the Knesset path for the fifth general elections in just 3 years have opened, which is supposed to take place on 25 October, according to the Israeli media.
Meanwhile political analyst of the “Channel 12” Amon Abramovitz said yesterday that “by conducting this present elections, we systematically dismantle Israeli step by step”.
Following this the political commentator of the “Channel 12” Amit Sagil said that “the last Isreal needed now was an election struggle lasting for 4 months and 5 days. That is a very long battle. The longest at least in the last 15 years”. Thus expressing that “this matter is not good for containing the economic crisis we all feel”.

وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية تفيد بأن لجنة الكنيست تصادق على قرار رئيس وزراء الاحتلال نفتالي بينيت، ووزير خارجيته يائير لابيد، حلّ الكنيست، يوم غد الأربعاء.
صادقت لجنة الكنيست الإسرائيلي، اليوم الثلاثاء، على طرح قانون حل الكنيست من قبل الائتلاف يوم غد الأربعاء، وفق ما أفادت به وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية.
وكان رئيس وزراء الاحتلال نفتالي بينيت ووزير خارجيته يائير لابيد قررا حلّ الكنيست، وتعيين لابيد رئيساً موقّتاً لحكومة بينيت، قبل الاتجاه إلى انتخابات مبكّرة.
وأكد بينيت، خلال مؤتمر صحافي مع لابيد، أنّ القرار جاء بسبب “فشل محاولات تحقيق الاستقرار داخل الائتلاف الحكوميّ”.
وقال لابيد إنه “حتى لو خرجنا إلى الانتخابات بعد عدة أشهر، فإنّ تحدياتنا لا يمكن أن تنتظر”، مضيفاً أنه “يجب معالجة غلاء المعيشة، وإدارة الصراع ضد إيران، وحماس وحزب الله”.
وأفادت وسائل إعلام إسرائيلية بأن ولاية لابيد، كرئيس حكومة انتقالية، من المتوقع أن تكون مدتها – على الأقل – ما بين 4 إلى 6 أشهر، لغاية أداء حكومة جديدة القسم. لكن، إذا لم تُثمر الانتخابات نتيجة حاسمة، فقد يجد لابيد نفسه في المنصب لأشهرٍ عديدة بعدها.
رئيس المعارضة في الكنيست ورئيس الحكومة السابق، بنيامين نتنياهو، أكد بعد قرار بينيت ولابيد، أنه “سيعود إلى السلطة وسيؤلّف حكومة موسعة برئاسة حزب الليكود”، معتبراً أن “حكومة بينيت فشلت بشكل كبير في النواحي الأمنية والسياسية والاقتصادية كافة”.
من جهته، اعتبر وزير القضاء في حكومة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي غدعون ساعر، أن “الهدف من الانتخابات المقبلة واضح، وهو منع نتنياهو من العودة إلى السلطة وتسخير الدولة لمصلحته”.
أما وزير المالية أفيغدور ليبرمان فقال إن “انتخابات اليوم هي نتيجة خدع وأكاذيب ومكائد شخص واحد اسمه بنيامين نتنياهو، والهدف الأساسي في الانتخابات المقبلة هو منعه من العودة إلى السلطة”.
وبقرار بينيت حل الكنيست، يكون قد فتح الطريق للمرة الـ5 خلال 3 سنوات لانتخابات عامة يُرجح أن تقام في 25 تشرين الأول/ أكتوبر، وفق الإعلام الإسرائيلي.
هذا، وقال المحلل السياسي في “القناة 12″ أمنون أبروموفيتش أمس، إنّه ” بأسلوب الانتخابات الحالي، نحن عملياً نفكك إسرائيل خطوةً تلو الأخرى”.
في غضون ذلك، قال معلق الشؤون السياسية في “القناة 12” عميت سيغل، إن “آخر ما كانت إسرائيل بحاجة إليه الآن هو معركة انتخابية مدتها 4 أشهر و 5 أيام، وهي معركة طويلة جداً، الأطول هنا منذ 15 سنة على الأقل”، معتبراً أن “هذا الأمر غير جيد في خضم هذه الأزمة الاقتصادية التي نشعر بها جميعاً
