“Israel” and Morocco sign a work plan for 2026 to increase the military partnership and coordination.

In a step showing the increasing paste of the military cooperation, “Israel” and Morocco this week in “Tel Aviv” held the third meeting of the Joint Military Commission (JMC) between the two sides, which ended with signing a joint military work plan for 2026. This is according to the official spokesman of the Israeli “army”.
The Israeli “i24NEWS” website said that the meeting was held under the oversight of the planning command and the foreign relations command of the Israeli “army” with the participation of high ranking officials from both sides.
According to the Israeli website the working schedule held designated professional meetings and included visits on the ground including to military units, the defense industry and the Israeli security institutions.
Strategic forum to enhance the military capabilities
Also the visit hosted a strategic forum designated to studying the ways to enhance the military capabilities on the long run and to outline the priorities of the joint cooperation.
The website reported that the discussions concentrated on strategic planning, technological innovation, training and operational coordination.
According to the Israeli side this meeting came within the framework of expanding the security and military cooperation between the two sides after the official relations were reopened within the Abraham Accords signed in 2020.

في خطوةٍ تعكس تسارع وتيرة التعاون العسكري، عقدت “إسرائيل” والمغرب، هذا الأسبوع، في. “تل أبيب” الاجتماع الثالث للجنة العسكرية المشتركة بين الجانبين (JMC)، واختُتم بتوقيع خطة عمل عسكرية مشتركة لعام 2026، وفق ما أعلنه المتحدث. باسم “الجيش” الإسرائيلي.
وقال موقع “i24NEWS” الإسرائيلي إنّ الاجتماع جرى بإشراف مديرية التخطيط ومديرية العلاقات. الخارجية في “الجيش” الإسرائيلي، وبمشاركة مسؤولين عسكريين رفيعي المستوى من الجانبين
وتضمّن جدول الأعمال لقاءات مهنية متخصصة، إلى جانب جولات ميدانية. شملت وحدات عسكرية، وصناعات دفاعية، وهيئات. أمنية إسرائيلية، وفق الموقع الإسرائيلي.
منتدى إستراتيجي لتعزيز القدرات العسكرية
كذلك، تخلل الزيارة منتدىً إستراتيجياً خُصّص لبحث سبل تعزيز القدرات. العسكرية على المدى البعيد، وتحديد أولويات التعاون المشترك.
وأردف الموقع أنّ النقاشات تركّزت على التخطيط الإستراتيجي، والابتكار. التكنولوجي، والتدريب، والتنسيق العملياتي.
وبحسب الجانب الإسرائيلي، يأتي هذا الاجتماع في سياق توسيع التعاون الأمني. والعسكري بين الطرفين، بعد استئناف العلاقات الرسمية. ضمن اتفاقيات “أبراهام” الموقّعة عام 2020
