Officials spokesman of the Iraqi government Ḥaydar al-‘Abbūdī confirmed that the International Coalition is speeding up its fieldwork to completely end its duty in Iraq by the end of September.
Al-‘Abbūdī underlined that the matter of sole possession of weapons in the hands of the state is solely a matter of Iraqi sovereignty, confirming that it does not yield to foreign dictations.
It should be remembered that Head of the Iraqi Government ‘Alī az-Zaydī had confirmed before that 30 September represents the final deadline for the withdrawal of the Coalition forces from Iraq, pointing out that ending the duty of the Coalition will open a broader field for Baghdad to concentrate on its efforts for construction, development and enhancing economic development.

أعلن المتحدث باسم الحكومة العراقية، حيدر العبودي، أن التحالف الدولي يسرع من إجراءاته الميدانية لإنهاء مهامه في العراق بشكل كامل، بنهاية شهر أيلول/سبتمبر المقبل.
وشدّد العبودي على أن ملف حصر السلاح بيد الدولة يمثل ملفاً سيادياً عراقياً بامتياز، مؤكداً أنه لا يخضع لأي إملاءات خارجية
يُذكر أن رئيس الحكومة العراقية علي الزيدي كان قد أكّد في وقتٍ سابق، أنّ الـ30 من أيلول/سبتمبر المقبل يمثّل الموعد النهائي لانسحاب قوات التحالف من العراق، مشيراً إلى أنّ انتهاء مهمة التحالف سيفتح مجالاً أوسع أمام بغداد لتركيز جهودها على البناء والتنمية وتعزيز النمو الاقتصادي
