Iranian President Mas ‘ūd Pezeškiyān confirmed that the sanctions and the “SnapBack” constitute a real threat, but the biggest danger is the internal fragmentation, underlining that the national unity is the basis of the steadfastness of the country.

Iranian President Mas‘ūd Pezeškiyān had confirmed that his country will not be intimidated by the sanctions, or the “SnapBack”, expressing that “a large part of our problems today are caused by the sanctions”, underlining that his government will surely aim for a solution without activating the mechanism.
In an interview with the Iranian television Pezeškiyān explained that those states that violate the international law have no grounds to accuse Iran of violating the international conventions. He confirmed that Iran does not want the activation of the “SnapBack” mechanism in any case.
“Our priority is the internal unity”
The Iranian President added: “If we had the missiles, but we lost the people, we have nothing”. Thus pointing out that his fear of the international division is bigger than his fear of the “SnapBack mechanism”, or any foreign threat, calling for complete national unity.
He confirmed his basic program in the government that is to enhance the internal unity, saying: “if we strengthened our internal unity the enemy will not manage to cause any damage to the country”.
“We don’t want the war, but will confront the aggression”
Pezeškiyān also confirmed that the Islamic Republic “did not, and will not want the war”, pointing out that the enemy believed that Iran was in its weakest point, when the latest aggression was launched against it and believed that the people will go out to the streets within three days to topple the system, but this was not achieved”.
Pezeškiyān said: “We don’t want the war, but if we are attacked, we will face them with strength”. Thus pointing out the intent of the United States and the Israeli Entity to continue the division of Iran and to undermine its stability.

أكد الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان أنّ بلاده لا تستخفّ بالعقوبات أو بـ”آلية الزناد”، معتبراً أنّ. “جزءاً كبيراً من مشكلاتنا اليوم ناتج عن العقوبات”، ومشدداً على أن حكومته ستسعى حتماً للحيلولة دون تفعيل الآلية.
وفي مقابلة مع التلفزيون الإيراني، أوضح بزشكيان أنّ الدول التي تنتهك القوانين الدولية لا تملك. الأهلية لاتهام إيران بانتهاك المعاهدات الدولية، مؤكداً أن إيران لا تريد تفعيل آلية “الزناد” بأي حال من الأحوال.
“أولويتنا هي الوحدة الداخلية
وأضاف الرئيس الإيراني: “إذا امتلكنا الصواريخ لكن خسرنا الشعب فإننا لا نملك شيئاً”، مشيراً إلى. أن خوفه من الانقسامات الداخلية أكبر من خوفه من “آلية الزناد” وأي تهديد خارجي، داعياً إلى وحدة وطنية شاملة.
وأكد أن مشروعه الأساسي في الحكومة يتمثل في تعزيز الوحدة الداخلية، قائلاً: “إذا عززنا وحدتنا الداخلية لن. يتمكّن العدو من إلحاق أي ضرر بالبلاد.”
“لا نريد الحرب لكننا سنواجه أي اعتداء
كما شدّد بزشكيان على أن الجمهورية الإسلامية “لم ولن تريد الحرب”، لافتاً إلى أن العدو اعتقد أن. إيران في أضعف حالاتها عندما شنّ العدوان الأخير، وكان يتصوّر أنّ الشعب سينزل إلى الشوارع. خلال ثلاثة أيام لإسقاط النظام، لكن ذلك لم يتحقّق.
